Notre Dame was ranked No. 9 and Alabama was ranked No. 10 in Week 14.
Notre Dame won at (4-8) Stanford 49-20, Alabama won at (5-7) Auburn 27-20.
Alabama JUMPS Notre Dame, swapping spots at 9 and 10.
Fast forward to this week, Alabama gets SMASHED by UGA, and ND doesn’t play.
Alabama stays at No. 9 and Notre Dame falls another spot to No. 11, despite the four teams behind them losing/not playing.
I don’t care if you think Notre Dame should’ve missed the playoff all along, but the committee just contradicted everything they stood for the past month.
Disgraceful decision making.
So folks at @espn are upset ND isn’t playing in a bowl game after weeks of folks politicking against the lack of conference affiliation, using them as a pawn for their CFB playoff selection show, having the ACC network play the UM/ND game on repeat for 48 hours during Conf Champ week BUT now it’s a bad look they don’t want to serve ESPN’s best interest by playing in an exhibition bowl game? Got it.
If you hate ND and want to celebrate today that’s fine. Just know that you have no integrity and don’t care about the sport because anyone who cares about competition & having the best 12 teams in should want Notre Dame in the playoff. If you don’t it’s because you lack character
Idk why yall think that if they’re not “in a conference” that must mean they’re just playing community colleges

THIS SHOULD BE FRONT PAGE NEWS EVERYWHERE
For the second month in a row, NOT A SINGLE migrant was released into our country at the border.
ZERO.
All we needed was a new President!
This should infuriate anyone who has worked all their lives and paid into Social Security.
Marci Rubio: “People work their entire lives, retire and get $800 or $1000 in SS. Then someone who just got here and doesn’t work is given $1500 a month.”
SEN. MULLIN: "1-in-36. If that's not a pandemic, then what is? It used to be 1-in-10,000 have autism. Can any of you guys with a straight face say that we shouldn't look at every aspect to what we're putting in our kids, be it from the food to the vaccines?"
I like Kirk Herbstreit, but a guy who’s visually emotional after a team wins a game should NEVER be calling that team’s game, especially in a National Championship.
Loving Indy is easy to do, regardless of its issues. And politically - as well as in its teams - there are lots and lots of issues.
But this is remarkably well stated by @PatMcAfeeShow@JimIrsay, I hope you read what he had to say.
What Indy is saying is: This losing, like this, has to end. Now. Today.
You need winners. Fighters. People committed to winning and finding fighters to work with.
Jim, you have not been successful in finding those people.
I believe, like many fans, that you may be the issue. You are good for Indy, and I think Indy really likes you and your passion and that your emotions are clearly worn on your sleeve. But we want to win. We want the team that represents Indy to be a team that fights to the end, and leaves it all on the field each and every game.
Jim, change is needed. And it starts with you. Maybe you need to step away and let others make the decisions. Maybe you need to make tougher decisions and start demanding more from those you bring on board.
But change must come to the @colts. If it doesn't, don't expect the fans to come back to you. They've had enough of this.
