Cal offensive points, off script, without defensive help.
UCLA: 10 points
Syracuse: 7
Clemson: 3, and it required Cal’s 4th string QB and a TE to throw a pass.
This isn’t an alarm, it’s a raging wildfire.
Cal has let Clemson off the hook several times over in the first half
But here's the bigger thing
Cal invested far too many resources for this to be the offensive product. Full stop
Not remotely in the stratosphere of the expectations
Someone's gotta figure it out.
It was a needed win for cal yesterday, couple things top of mind:
1. Defense has real upside and has the conditioning to see games through - Tuitele, Lopa and Crosby are dawgs
2. Offensive scheme is not clicking and JKS is not suited for it
@GoldenBearcast Even though we lost it felt good to be back in Berkeley (and to a sell out crowd)! I’m more curious about how this team bounces back from losses/challenges than anything else. I think that’s going to be the key this year given lots of newness…
