I propose that we pick a home @NDFootball game this season (Stanford) and we all dress up like Lou Holtz- navy hat with an ND logo, white collar shirt and navy sweatshirt with Notre Dame across the chest. It'd be a great gesture to honor him. ☘️ @NDFootballPR@NotreDame
The algorithm will likely tamp this down.
However…
@marcwithglasses sent this to me
I’ve never seen this actual clip, nor anything like it.
Energy in the stadium during the Holtz era was remarkable.

Ironically enough, this upcoming season is the one Marcus Freeman was talking about when he said:
"When this is over gentlemen, no one and I mean NO ONE will be able to stop us."
Back then, it sounded like a promise.
Now? It feels like a warning.
Coaches moved. Staff shifted.
But the players — the majority of that room — stayed, developed, and are now stepping into starting roles 👀
Children die in school shootings and it’s “not the guns”.
Mass shootings claim lives multiple times a year and it’s “not the guns”.
Kyle Rittenhouse shot 3 people during a protest and it’s “not the guns”
ICE kills Alex Pretti, and suddenly it’s his fault because he “had a gun”
Remember all that fuss and announcement about Tylenol and autism?
Huge new study shows it was completed nonsense
Predictably
RFK Jr and MAHA are wasting everyone's time
Notre Dame just got punished for a three-point road loss to No. 10 Miami on August 31, while Alabama lost by 14 to a 5–7 Florida State team at the same time.
SEC/Bama bias in a nutshell.
Second time in three years the CFB Playoff committee has completely lied and/or twisted logic to punish a dominant team.
Florida State in 2023 and Notre Dame in 2025.
The team that benefitted both times is Alabama and the SEC.
Remember when 10-2 and No. 2 Auburn - who beat UGA and Bama by double digits in the regular season - lost to UGA in the SEC title game 28-7? They dropped 5 spots to No. 7. Who replaced them? Alabama, who they beat 26-14 a week earlier.
That is NOT a coincidence.
ESPN owns all broadcasting rights to the CFP.
All CFP money is paid by ESPN
ESPN owns all SEC broadcasting rights.
ESPN owns all ACC broadcasting rights.
ESPN isn’t the primary owner of B1G or Big 12 rights anymore.
ESPN doesn’t own primary Notre Dame broadcast rights.
Is anyone surprised ESPN managed to invest $20 million in its main product and found away to shun a more deserving Big 12 program and/or Notre Dame to invest $4 million in its ACC product instead?
Only $16 million to B1G and Big 12 where ESPN has minimal broadcasting rights compared to $32 million paid to ESPN owned conference rights.
Follow the money and it all makes sense.
SEVEN DAYS AGO
9. Notre Dame
10. Alabama
11. Miami
[Neither ND nor Miami play. Alabama plays and gets blown out]
TODAY
9. Alabama

It was never about ND vs Miami. It was ND and Miami vs espn and the SEC.
