@elonmusk Younger folks don't trust what Government says and are prepared to create change, vs the Very Conservative who appear to defer to those in power, yet claim they want less government oversight, less social programs
@ForMYCanada Minority govts get stuff done. They don't need to collaborate anymore, so just try to slow stuff down so they can cast blame and highlight lack of results.

@xueshang@yishan Estimate was $200billion for a canal out of Persian Gulf, vs $2Billion for pipeline. UaE went with pipeline and it worked for a while till Iran hit it.
@beleevthetruth@SaltyGoat17 Not an island (blue line added on top), it's part of UAE and is mountainous, and UAE already has a pipeline following that path, just carries less (1.5M barrels/day) vs Strait tankers (20M/day)
