@Arnbeg so happy for you! really hope she's OK. my elderly black lab opened the front door and bolted thanks to fireworks this week (luckily we got her back within the hour) so was really feeling the panic here. glad she's back with her babies.

@DearBlueEarth That was the first of three sections (funny shaped pelvis, yay) and believe me, I made sure the anaesthetists for the following two understood to keep it flowing lol. to be fair, the third one actually asked me if I usually required more anaesthetic because of my hair.

@lizardschwartz Layla is also from gundog lines (5 Crufts champs in recent history) and last night she was so terrified she opened the front door and ran. Cue 30 minutes of searching in the dark for a black lab who can't see properly anymore. She's home safe now but I HATE them.

@GraceOnFootball my sons were both prescribed the same medication for ADHD and neither got on with it. one has found success with a non-stimulant (Guanfacine) but the other is now back to trying to manage it in other ways as he couldn't cope with how the stimulant made him feel at all.

@DavidMuttering My Dave likes to start reminding me about dinner an hour before it's due, yesterday he started at 3 and by 5 he was in full diva starvation, withering away mode. very hard to ignore!

@SoozUK I'm not American, I'm not sure if I'm ever patriotic and I certainly don't care about anthems (aside from the passion of the Ferrari crew at F1 races) but this always makes me well up. She was just amazing.

@oldenoughtosay @Neko_Akage our neighbours are building an annexe in the back garden and planning permission was only given when they agreed to enlarge their drive to allow for three cars. they currently only have the one!
