I am an IDVA for a women’s charity in South Bristol. I live with my partner and 3 dogs in a miners cottage in Warmley. I play in two brass bands and love it.
I've today sent an open letter to the Chancellor @RachelReevesMP on a range of non-partisan issues of financial unfairness inc Child Benefit, LISA fines, Carers Allowance, Tax-Free Childcare, financial ed, Mortgage Prisoners, debt letters, Student maintenance loans & more...
@O2 You are a flipping nightmare. I would never recommend you to anyone. 7 months of stress caused by yourselves and still I have to call you for you not to resolve the issue. I am done!
@O2 everything has gone quiet again! I had a phone call with someone from O2 and I thought, at last, things were happening and now it’s gone silent again!!! 6 months without my fraud being dealt with!! Shocking!!
@O2 your company is completely useless. The customer service does not exist. It’s been 5 months since you gave my phone number away in a scam but STILL you don’t respond to me. What else can I try to make you hear me???
@O2 how long is not long when dealing with a customer issue? I have not been able to use my phone number since 27th January. You have not dealt with my scam, you have denied me access to my call records, failed to call me back twice.. when???
@BBCWatchdog@itvMLshow
@O2 please please please are you going to resolve my situation??? You’ve gone quiet again 🙁
You’re quick enough to tell me I owe for my handset but won’t discuss your appalling treatment of me since January!
#O2
In the meantime, the cheeky devils have sent me a bill for the phone I can’t use! I called them this week and was told the fraud was now sorted, I asked why they hadn’t called???. No response… he then told me I need to contact Vodafone again!! To get my number back ..tbc
(remember? This is the one that O2 gave to them in the first place?!) aaaagh
Well, today I’ve received a letter from them demanding £19.70 for my handset… I feel obliged to pay because I don’t want to risk my credit rating … but please note the message in red 😊
For those of you who have been following my drama with O2… I have complained to Ofcom about their responses to the scam and sent a formal letter of complaint to their head office and to their email address.
No response yet …
@O2 you’ve had long enough to respond to my complaint surely? I raised my scam with you on 21st January and allegedly the fraud team were dealing with it then… clearly not. Come on, I want this resolved please. I think I’ve been patient enough. #nocustomerhelp
@O2 please can you help resolve my issue? I’ve been calling you for over 40 days after being scammed and I’m still waiting for help. No one calls me back, the email address doesn’t work, you refuse information under my GDPR rights. What else can I try??!! HELP
@O2 why is your customer ‘service’ team so hopeless? Why do they not help with a fraud situation in the time stipulated? Why do they all give you different, conflicting advice? Why do I feel so unsupported by you? Please don’t say because they’re busier than usual.
O2 your customer service Is NOT a service. My consultant at the hospital said I was to avoid stress, this has not helped.
I’m sure I will not have a call from a manager by tomorrow.
I have tried to explore my rights under GDPR but this has been denied too.
What next??!!
On 21st January, while being unwell, I fell foul of a scammer, giving away ridiculous information. Realising my mistake I contacted my phone provider O2 to stop anything happening.. this began my nightmare with their, wrongly named, customer service team …
I called O2 yesterday who told me I’d requested the transfer to Vodafone, in spite of all my calls about the fraud and was given their email address, that doesn’t work, again!
I’ve now been told a manager will call in 48 hours… I’m not holding my breath.
