@BillGRinehart Pretty interesting concept. Worked at a McD’s in high school and saw the exact same thing, so I’m not sure it’s new. But the schism has certainly grown wider as tech has advanced IMO

@hellostartupla @julesterpak Fair point Ed, however I would counter that today’s social engineering efforts far exceed those of the past. Social media, always-online content, Fortnite and other “kid-friendly” games, etc are far more advanced than they used to be. The onus is on the parents to show the way.

@hellostartupla @julesterpak Gatekeeping childcare is part of the reason we’re in this position in the first place. “You don’t have kids, so don’t tell me what to do” is patronizing at best and destructive at worst. Kids are getting fucked up by screens, let’s work together on a solution.
