Look, I get it. I had to go through cancer treatment (appts, tests, scans, 2 surgeries, radiation) ALONE in the hospital. It was horrible & traumatic.

But I would NEVER say that just because I had to do that alone, you don’t deserve to be with your partner. #LoveIsNotTourism

Numerous senior officials from the Public Health Agency of Canada were at committee today. I asked what data they used to determine that forcing people into quarantine hotels would result in better public health than allowing people to quarantine at home. Their response: 🤷🏼‍♀️

You cannot in the same breath sympathize with the mental health crisis happening because of COVID and then tell partners it is irresponsible to see each other (even w/proven safety precautions like testing & quarantine). It contradicts itself.
