Working on a fuzzy-ones theme super secret care package for a friend and thought it aligned purrrfectly with this week's #CanvaDesignChallenge. (See what I did there?) 😻😹🐈
This is a fantastic example of designing lessons that allow students to thrive. In this context, it is a great support for English Language Learners, but this same approach is what works to support all students who may have initial barriers with accessing curriculum.
If you want #teachers to implement research-based practices, then why is it so ridiculously difficult and expensive to gain access to the research journals that have said practices? 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
@KyleHamstra This was also one of my favorite quote from this article. I think the idea of collective efficacy is something all organizational leaders or even team leaders need to know about.

Something to be said about staying in the same grade level. 6 years into 2nd, I feel like I know my grade, content, standards & expectations for kids throughout the year. Planning & prep become easier, and I’ve had time to gather resources and supplemental materials as needed

Hey principals:
You’re pretty awesome. Thanks for all you’re doing.
I mean, COVID, quarantines, sub shortages, tik tok soap dispenser & urinal cake thefts…but you show up, step up, & keep things going. Thank you.
