Behind the scenes: During lessons our discussions included prompting for ss to not only define what a fraction is, but also explain the relationship between the size of the fractional parts and the denominator. An extension used was to name fractional parts as “1/2 is also 2/4.”

🇵🇷🐸🌴Welcome to Pizzeria El Coquí, located in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in Old San Juan! Ss put their fractions knowledge to the test getting 🍕orders out as fast as possible. The challenge was to put the right amount of toppings in the correct fractional parts!
