A Tesla can cost you ~70% less than what you spend on fuel in a comparable gas car
Internal combustion engines convert only 20-30% of fuel energy to motion, with 70%+ lost as heat.
In comparison, EVs convert 85–90% of battery energy into motion, so you need far less energy to go the same distance

@Jason Version 14.0 goes into early wide release next week, then 14.1 about 2 weeks later and finally 14.2.
The car will feel almost like it is sentient being by 14.2.
For example, most people will operate in a way that maximizes the amount of money they will get and that minimizes the amount of work they have to do to get it.
To see this, just leave someone unsupervised and allow them to bill you for what they have done. Be especially wary of this conflict of interest when people are advising you on matters that will affect how much money they earn--such as the lawyer who spends a lot of billable hours giving you advice, or the salesperson who advises you on what to purchase while receiving a commission on the amount that you spend. You can't imagine how many people I meet who are eager to "help" me.
Don't be naive. Strive for the highest possible percentage of your population having meaningful work and meaningful relationships while recognizing that there will always be some percentage of the population who won't care for the community and/or will do it harm. #principleoftheday
Tesla is at a critical inflection point. We need your vote ahead of our 2025 Annual Meeting on November 6.
Tesla shareholders, the owners of our company, will soon receive their control numbers and voting instructions from their brokers. This will enable you to vote.
We are asking you to vote with the Board’s recommendations on *all* proposals.
Tesla is on the precipice of another massive wave of transformational growth, as demonstrated by the unveiling of our Master Plan Part IV. If you believe, like us, that @ElonMusk is the CEO that can make this ambitious vision a reality, vote your shares.

Pancreatic and lung cancer news
Scientists studied NSD2, an enzyme that changes the way DNA is packaged in cells by adding a chemical tag called H3K36me2. Many cancers, especially those driven by KRAS mutations, seem to rely on NSD2’s activity to grow.
They developed powerful, highly selective NSD2 inhibitors (NSD2i) that block this enzyme. In lab and mouse models of pancreatic and lung cancer, NSD2i reversed harmful DNA packaging changes, shut down cancer promoting genes, and slowed or stopped tumor growth.
The drug worked well on its own and was safe in animals.
Even more promising, combining NSD2i with the KRAS blocking drug sotorasib caused strong, long lasting tumor shrinkage and greatly improved survival.
This research shows that blocking NSD2 is a potential new treatment for hard to treat cancers, and combining it with KRAS inhibitors could be especially effective.
