The right to walk on a footpath has been declared a Fundamental Right by the Hon’ble Supreme Court - a much-needed step that state governments and Urban Local Bodies must act upon.

There is an urgent need to enact legislation on this. The Karnataka Active Mobility Bill, 2022, introduced by the BJP-led state government, and well received by all citizens should be tabled and implemented without delay.

Bengaluru’s footpaths aren't usable - inadequate, poorly maintained, encroached and unsafe.

I urge the CM @DKShivakumar led state government to table this Bill and request Bengaluru Development Minister Shri @krishnabgowda to prioritise and ensure walkability across Bengaluru.

Roger Penrose suggests our universe may have emerged from a previous cosmic cycle.

Meanwhile, Vedic cosmology has been describing for millennia that the material universes are repeatedly created, maintained, and dissolved. One day of Brahmā lasts 4.32 billion years. His full lifespan extends to 311 trillion years. At the end of that cosmic cycle, all universes are withdrawn into Mahā Viṣṇu. Galaxies, stars, space, time, matter—everything collapses into Him. Then, with His next exhalation, countless universes emerge once again, each with its own Brahmā, planetary systems, and cosmic history.

So while some physicists are celebrating the possibility of one universe before the Big Bang, the Vedic sages were discussing an endless succession of universes appearing and disappearing with the breathing of Mahā Viṣṇu.

Not bad for a civilization that supposedly didn't know cosmology.

The more science advances, the more it seems to be rediscovering footnotes from the Vedas.

Will @PriyankKharge , who speaks about protecting the Constitution and Rule of Law, explain why he wrote a letter recommending withdrawal of cases against those accused in the Aland riots?

The accused have rioted, damaged public property, attacked police personnel, and raised slogans “Hindu ko Marenge” , "Hinduvon ko Dargah mein Raghava
Chaitanya Shivalinga puja karne ke liye bhejnewale policen ko bhi pujan karne ke liye aaye huve logon ke sath khalas karenge" (We will finish off the police who are allowing the Hindus to perform puja at the Raghava Chaitanya Shivalinga in the Dargah, along with the people who came to perform puja). Why should such cases be withdrawn?

This is not the first time. Priyank Kharge had earlier recommended withdrawal of cases against those accused of attacking the Chittapur Police Station, and now he has done the same for the Aland riot cases.

What message does this send? Does he believe only Muslim accused are innocent? What about the morale of police officers who were attacked while performing their duty?

I took some time to review the White Paper published by the TVK Govt on the state of Tamil Nadu's finances.

No surprises, as most of it was already known. In many ways, it serves as a post-mortem of the State’s fiscal mismanagement over the past five years, laying bare the extent of the deterioration and benchmarking Tamil Nadu’s key financial indicators against those of other similarly industrialised states.

-₹10 Lakh crore outstanding debt & per capita outstanding debt at ₹1,28,934
-Interest payments at 22.8% of total revenue receipts.
-State’s own tax revenue (SoTR) to GSDP ratio fell from 5.93% in 2021-22 to 5.45% in 2025-26.
-Major State PSUs in power, transport, and civil supplies hold a combined debt of ₹3.18 lakh crore.
-Revenue loss due to systemic corruption, suppressing registration revenues by undervaluing real estate prices and many more.

The shrinking working-age population in TN by 2031 leaves the state with very little time to recover and strengthen its revenue base. This is a serious issue!

The TVK Govt, therefore, has very little time at its disposal and must not treat this White Paper as an excuse for non-performance; instead, it should explore ways to repair the damage done. I propose that the government form a “functional” consultation group that includes not only academicians and economists but also experts from all fronts to find constructive ways to mitigate the crisis at hand.

This Muslim cleric is 27 years old although he looks like a child due to a illness called HDP syndrome which make one look like a child .

He had issued a fatwa that any women who is out on the street after 9 o'clock should be branded as prostitute & should be killed. No action has been taken against him till date. He should be immediately arrested @PMOIndia @HMOIndia

This is a high level of Al-Taqqiya intended to deceive non-Muslims. The so-called "bad" M's are actually truly following I$....M.

This penguin is trying to fool non-Muslims. Just see how neatly she has wrapped her head in a hijab like a true Muslima. But her motive is deception, or Al-Taqqiya. Their only "maqsad" is to deceive when needed and eliminate when powerful. So kindly don't get fooled by these kinds of goody-goody videos. Beware and don't get trapped.
