@SunRisers But in season of many 600s, a 300 isn't a grt number. NKR was certainly v good with bat esp giving late cameos. But he had plenty of opportunities to score big say 70s atleast 2 to 3 times in 15 games but he never did.

His bowling...umm improved but needs support of conditions.

@SUNRISERSU That's the key... NKR now needs to step up to do big things. The smaller innings, upcoming all rounder story is over. Look at guys like Vaibhav, angkrish etc how they bat big. NKR needs to play big now.

Pat contribution as captain is fine but as a ✈️ players, is the slot justified? Can there be higher impact player?

SRH need to revamp their bowling dept fully.

Squad lacks top quality bowling. Period. It takes years to mature for bowlers. So r u gonna wait 5 yrs? U need lethal bowlers.

Also no.5 to 7 is unreliable.

@SunRisers Wrong decision to chase. SRH could have tried to put up 240+ n put RR under pressure. Chasing is significantly tougher. Not sure y SRH chose to bowl.

@SunRisers Getting another 45 runs was not a matter for SRH. Their spirit was broken by Vaibhav. It's was traumatic to watch, imagine to go through it on field.

The damage is deeper, wt will SRH do NXT season when they face vaibhav. It's that deep.

Also it's a wrong decision to chase.

@gadepalli_sunil @SunRisers @SUNRISERSU @bhogleharsha Lot of people missed the point. Vaibhav broke the spirit of SRH. His innings completely broke down SRH mentally. Talking of 29 ball 100 here. Imagine Gayle, ABD all have done it, breaking opposition spirit with their unbelievable innings.

When it happens u can only sympathize.

@SunRisers NKR is a different issue for SRH. He seems to be work in progress forever. Never delivering big scores with bat. Bowling 2 bad balls every over is age old sign of poor bowler.

NKR can survive as ther r no better alternatives. But he needs to find his identity n bring mojo.

1 Lacks top quality bowling.
2 No lethal wicket takers.
3 Spin non-existent.
4 Unreliable batting 5 to 7.
5 Head n Pat contributions not enuf

1 ✈️ Livingstone, Carse, Madhushanka/Kamindu - Replace them with alternatives for Head, Pat n Klaasen.

2 Harshal, Unadkat, Ansari - replace them with a pace, spin n big hitter

SRH needs to look for plyrs with attitude not just talent.

6 Smaran/Aniket slot zero contribution throughout season. Need a solid reinforcement.

If SRH fills these holes, they have a chance.

2 Focus on bowling group - buy top quality stuff both pace n spin. Too many new domestic plyrs dents quality n reliability.

@SunRisers Firstly congratulate SRH for coming 3rd on table.

But SRH never designed to be top team. Poor bowling resources n zero alternatives in both ind n ✈️.

It's a poor squad that needs significant improvements. Will share specific player post next one.

My reasons:
1. He bowls either too full or too short
2. Lines r not fully attacking
3. He needs 1 lethal delivery that can cut through to stumps, currently not there.

If he improves these he can be lethal.

@ChennaiIPL CSK have good squad. They should move on from Dhoni-Flemming saga. Rituraj is burdened with legacies.

Bring fresh thinking n new approach. Someone like Jonathan Trot can galvanize them. If they do then I think next season they will be in top 2.

They will most likely do a big reset at the mega auctions by retaining only 1 or 2 players n going with highest purse.

@ChennaiIPL CSK may not have qualified but have got solid ingredients.

Matre, Samson, Brevis, Urvil, Kartik, Shivam, Prashant, is a v strong n explosive unit. I feel next season is theirs.

Even bowling: Mukesh, Kamboj, Overton were quite good.

CSK will be a force in 2027!
