@shivnarayan01 @DelhiPolice The aggrieved’s family tried filing zero FIR which was rejected without any valid grounds by @Uppolice The advocate overseeing the case took multiple rounds to Hauz Khas PS to file an FIR until day before, and was denied by SHO to file the FIR.

Just like Gurgaon biker’s ordeal, a similar incident happened with my 20-year-old friend in Delhi. She was chased, harassed and hit by two youths on a bike. She too was on her bike heading home at night on Sept 12. Despite a complaint sent to @DelhiPolice (Hauz Khas PS) a week ago, they have not registered an FIR. She has given a description of the bike (without the registration number). There are several CCTV cameras at the accident spot at Panchsheel Park. Yet, police are yet to make efforts to identify youths.

The accident left her one side completely bruised. She is in UP recovering at a hospital in her home city . It will take her two months before she is back on her feet.
