This time, the Tamil Nadu budget is very long.

It is well balanced between development and welfare.

The government’s statement that the state will achieve high fiscal discipline over the next two years is heartening.

The vision and goal are clear: a $1.5 trillion GDP for Tamil Nadu by 2036.

As a state, we need to work very hard for this.

But it is definitely doable.

A summary of what finance secretary
M A Siddique said about the Budget :

-Debt is not wrong, we will borrow to grow but borrowing should be
commensurate with revenue receipts

-Give us at least two years to improve fiscal position

-We will also continue welfare schemes , don’t consider them dole-outs

-Fiscal space for these will come from improving revenue receipts and also improving quality of expenditure

-Allocations across sectors have been balanced and unwanted expenses have been disregarded in some sectors leading to reduced allocation this time

I had a fibre connection issue today (6th October and logged a complaint via app. The appointment and time slot selected for engineer visit was 3:00 to 4:00 pm same day.

But I did not get any service engineer visit or call. After waiting, I get a message now. (1/4)
