@kirubaakaran@claudeai Sir, so CC keeps us in 10% of the option traders who makes profit..
how about CC with calender spread and ratio spread with one side CE writing..??
@saketh1998 Covered call should not be deployed on stock. It should be on index (nifty)
There are many proven strategy that gives you 4 to 5% return per month
People are doing this silently and don't show up..hence cc is underrated
🚨 What is a LIQUIDITY SWEEP ⁉️ Many traders often complain:
"My stop-loss (SL) got hit... and then the market moved exactly as I expected!"
In many cases, price briefly moves just enough to trigger clustered stop-losses before reversing.
This often happens during a liquidity sweep.
A liquidity sweep occurs when the market briefly moves beyond a well-established support or resistance level to trigger stop-losses and absorb pending orders, before quickly reversing in the opposite direction.
‼️Who is selling to all these buyers?
✔️Large institutional participants use this surge of buying liquidity to sell into the strength (or distribute long positions).
Once they have absorbed enough buy orders, buying pressure dries up, & price may reverse sharply.
Learning to distinguish a liquidity sweep from a true breakout is a valuable skill that every trader should develop.
I will explain this concept with a practical example in a future post. 😊

Saransh Jain has earned his maiden Test call-up 👏
Take a look at the new off-spinner, who set the stage on fire with his stunning 5/49 in the Duleep Trophy final. 👌
An Indian institute filmed a professor teaching classical physics with no notes, no slides, and a green board. Almost nobody outside India watches it.
This is Classical Physics, lecture 1, taught by V. Balakrishnan at IIT Madras, published free by NPTEL, India's national open courseware programme.
Balakrishnan taught at IIT Madras for decades. Students who sat in that room describe the same thing: the whole subject held in his head, delivered in order, no paper on the podium.
Lecture 1 is the introduction. What classical mechanics claims, where the claims hold, and the exact points where they stop holding and quantum takes over.
Watch how he speaks. Complete sentences, no filler, each idea finished before the next begins. Rare in any lecture hall on any continent.
A physicist I know worked through the whole NPTEL series and rates it above the western courses he paid for.

You have our respect VVS Laxman. 🫡
Started with ₹60 lakh in 2019.
Quit his job once trading income beat his salary.
Hasn't missed a trading day since Jan 2020.
He runs two strategies:
a directional one (Adaptive Supertrend) and a non-directional one (weekly strangle selling).
(i) Adaptive Supertrend tests 7 different factor/multiplier combos per stock — because one Supertrend setting doesn't work equally across all instruments.
Backtest 60 days; mostly green = usable, mostly red = skip it.
Directional trades: sell call on a sell signal, flip to selling puts when the signal reverses. Always in a trade, one side or the other
(ii) Non-directional "bread and butter" strategy:
He backtested Nifty's weekly expiries since 2021 — found it closes within ±3.5% of the week's start about 96% of the time.
The trade mostly he takes:
sell a strangle (call 3.5% above spot, put 3.5% below) at the start of each weekly expiry.
~90% win rate over many repetitions — the edge comes from doing it consistently,
not from any single trade.

#Ratiospread -As discussed in the article, the trade is being carried into Monday.
✔️Nothing to lose if Nifty shoots up.
‼️But there is a lot more to gain if we get a sharp fall.
That's the beauty of a well-structured, ratio spread
