2 days ago Gujarat police caught a rapist-killer from Vapi railway station.

What they found next will shake your belief in humanity a little.

On 14th November, a 19 years old girl in Udvada, Gujarat was found dead. Rape was confirmed. Police started investigation.

A bag found at the crime scene became the clue. It belonged to some traveller based on its belongings. So, Police started looking for CCTVs at railway station.

After such a terrible ordeal, Porter made no amends, I had to pay full amount for damaged goods, bad service, disrespectful behaviour and feel extra scared as a woman getting calls from disrespectful men late in the night forcing me to agree to his timing.

@porterit_ I told the person handling my complaint that I blocked the supervisor’s number so imagine what she does. She takes me on a conference call with the supervisor. I cannot comprehend this level of callousness and disregard. Please don’t try to solve anything.

@porterit_ Please refrain from contacting me. I specified to the person calling me that I in no way wish to speak to the supervisor/partner who was sent to my home. I was left extremely hassled while dealing with him and the experience was so bad, I don’t ever wish to speak with him.

Because unknown numbers calling me to give my location taking Porter’s name while no official from Porter coordinating is exactly where my nightmare begin.

I don’t wish them well. Ever. I know how hard it is to run a business but you can’t be terrible to this degree

2023, people can be disrespectful, offer shoddy service and have zero shame accountability or sense of responsibility. If you love peace and want a happy shifting experience, do check with Porter regarding who will show up at your door, background check, timings, etc

After such mental harassment, I decided to pay the men and let it go for peace but the partner then suddenly started calling me at 9 till 9:30pm in the night telling me to agree to the timing he has set with the Porter official. He kept calling so I blocked his number.

The call back came from a different department and not movers and packers so they refused any support. I asked them why were they calling me in the first place if they are of no help. The persons, I got calls from 15 people and I had to relay my story to 15 people. With zero help

The guy got angry at me for not answering his phone once after turning up 4 hours late while I was busy getting help from local movers. When they requested payment, I still told them to wait 5 minutes, let me confirm with a porter official. Porter number confirmed a call back.

Just here to tell @porterit_ that their partners reached my place 4 hours late, broke my TV, put several dents in my fridge, fought with me despite rude behaviour and stalled at my place for payment after refusing to be polite and cooperative during my shifting.
