Feels like a personal loss this. Thank you Dr Manmohan Singh for saving India from the global recession, without even trying to take much credit for it. Seems unthinkable now. Thank you for forming economic policies that saved India from a very bad place economically. Thanks for acknowledging faults and mistakes in your party, and even going against them when needed. You were a man of different merit. Thank you for focussing on working on India's growth and India's middle class growth instead of just winning elections. Thank you for stopping brain drain to a huge extent and making the youth want to stay in India. You didn't resort to quick fixes or tried to prove people your intelligence, your multiple degrees and immense knowledge did that. Many called you the silent man but they forgot the proverb empty vessels make the most noise. A generation who made their life's fortunes because of your policies will hate you and your party blinded by religious colours, but you did it all for them.
