Our legal team also drafted and ensured the filing of a separate complaint concerning the vile rape threats she has received over the last few days.

After detailed deliberations, Delhi Police has assured:

• Addition of appropriate provisions relating to attempt to murder & the SC/ST Act
• Arrest of Swatantra Bhardwaj within 72 hours
• A separate FIR against those responsible for the online abuse, harassment & threats

These are assurances by the police but they must now translate into prompt, demonstrable action.

Rape threats, intimidation and targeted online abuse against a woman cannot be trivialised as mere “social media incidents”. When they threaten her safety, dignity and liberty, the law must respond with its full force.

We will remain vigilant until every assurance is honoured in letter and spirit.

Finally, Delhi Police have registered an FIR against the Sanghi goon and said he will be arrested within 72 hours.

It took two months and a protest just to get an FIR registered for a hate crime that happened right in front of the police.

2. Retail inflation at a 19 month high. Sugar, Onion, Tomato, Dal, Cooking Oil, Rice, Milk, every kitchen staple on fire. Petrol, Diesel, LPG and CNG is becoming unaffordable. Middle class families are somehow battling to survive and the poor has given up hope.

3. Inequality worse than British rule. The top 1% owns 40% of India's total wealth. The bottom 50% survives on a humiliating 15%. Your governmnent has engineered the greatest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in independent India's history.

Rampant Crony Capitalism is your only Economic Policy.

Your government has written off over ₹16 lakh crore of corporate loans since 2014. And in the latest jaw-dropping example, creditors recovered just ₹6.5 crore against admitted claims of ₹22,006 crore, giving a 99.97% haircut.

The nation has seen that the Prime Minister of India is functioning as a personal travel agent for a crony friend!

Your repeated sermons of asking Indians not to buy gold and not to travel abroad shows the ground reality.

निर्भया के बाद इतने सालों में, इतनी घटनाओं के बाद भी ऐसी बसों की जाँच और निगरानी के नियमों का पालन क्यों नहीं हो रहा?

पर्दे सिर्फ़ उस बस में नहीं डाले गए थे - साल दर साल सरकार द्वारा प्रशासन की नाकामियों पर डाले गए पर्दों का नतीजा है कि देश की राजधानी में भी महिलाएं एक सुरक्षित सफर नहीं कर सकतीं।

और कितनी महिलाओं और बच्चियों के साथ ऐसा होना बाक़ी है, तब जाकर केंद्र और राज्य सरकारें इस व्यवस्था को ठीक करेंगी?

क्या अमित शाह के अधीन दिल्ली पुलिस और आदित्यनाथ के अधीन UP पुलिस की जवाबदेही तय की जाएगी? कोई गुंजाइश ही नहीं - इस अपराध पर भी एक पर्दा डाल दिया जाएगा।
