Just a reminder - disposed Christmas trees and wreaths will NOT be accepted at Sunriver's recycling depot. Trees/wreaths can be taken to Knott Landfill in Bend or La Pine Transfer Station FOR FREE through January. The local Boy Scouts also have a pickup program in Sunriver.

The Sunriver Police and Fire departments will be conducting annual emergency siren testing at noon today.

The test will include firing off each of the five sirens individually as well as simultaneously between noon and 1pm.

Prescribed Burn near Ann’s Butte!

Firefighters on the Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District will conduct approximately 280 acres of prescribed burning three miles southwest of Sunriver and immediately west of Three Rivers neighborhood starting Friday, May 20 around 11am.

Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District will implement prescribed burns near Sunriver & La Pine. Starts as soon as next week and over the next 4-6 weeks as conditions allow. Units include 700 acres adjacent to Cottonwood Road, 1,000 acres near Anne’s Butte, and 1,300 acres east of Hwy 97.
