So Chelsea secretly pay out £47.5m in brown envelopes to players & agents for 7 years helping them sign players like Hazard and gain sporting advantage while winning multiple trophies..
PUNISHMENT: £10m fine
——
Everton meanwhile, slightly breach PSR, overspending by £19.5m over the allowable £105m limit in one period, largely linked to stadium investment & COVID impacts.
PUNISHMENT: 10 point deduction followed by a another 2 point deduction both which directly affected their league position and prize money whilst risking being relegated from the Premier League.. AND now have to pay Burnley £40m for alleged lost earnings due to Everton’s “unfair advantage!?”
——
One club hid tens of millions in shady payments for years and got a slap on the wrist. The other got hammered with points lost, risked being relegated, costing millions in prize money for league placement and now have to pay compensation to clubs as well!?
The disparity in severity, sporting impact and deterrence makes the rules look ridiculous and unfair.
“Big” clubs get no consequences for their actions, while Everton are the league’s whipping boy suffering multiple existential hits.
Why are Everton treated so differently to every other club in the league!?
Hopefully come down on appeal but that is astonishing. Burnley have successfully argued that they were relegated because Everton breached spending rules by making stadium loan interest payments.
Richard Masters opened the legal Pandora's Box in 2023 and must resign over it now.
The PL are having a laugh. Everton are to pay £40m to Burnley because of PSR breaches in 21/22? Burnley were relegated because they were shit not because of anything Everton did. How about getting the City case settled before we hear anymore about PSR at other clubs?
When Kevin Campbell got on the coach for an Everton reserve game against Southport, he noticed a kid sitting there who looked completely out of place.
He was 14 years old. Ears sticking out.
“I thought he was one of the coaching staff’s son or nephew.”
Campbell did not think much more of it until they got to the stadium. Then he saw the kid in the dressing room getting changed.
“I’m thinking, what’s going on here?”
Andy Holden was managing the reserves at the time, and Campbell looked over at him for an explanation.
“He’s starting.”
Campbell could not believe it.
“What the f***?”
“We’re playing against Southport, men.”
“Where does he play?”
And the answer made even less sense.
“He’s playing up front with you.”
Campbell was still not having it.
“B*******.”
But Holden just told him straight.
“Kev, treat him like you would a first-team player.”
Then the game started. And within minutes, everything changed.
“The game has started, hat comes off.”
“At 14, I’d never seen anything like it.”
Campbell was watching this 14-year-old take on grown non-league defenders, twist them up, play one-twos, and run through them like it was normal.
“I was thinking, what the f*** is this?”
The kid got the ball, played it into Campbell, and Campbell put it into the space. Then the young lad slots it in bottom corner.
Campbell looked over at Holden.
Holden looked back at him.
“I told you.”
Then Campbell scored one himself.
The kid put him through with what Campbell called an “eye of a needle pass.” By then, Campbell had seen enough.
“What can’t he do?”
Then came another one. He powered his way through. Top corner.
Campbell was substituted, but he did not go inside. He stayed on the bench just to watch.
Then they moved the kid from striker to wide left. And he started spraying balls around the pitch like he had been doing it for years.
Campbell looked at Holden again.
Holden looked back at Campbell.
They both just shook their heads.
The next day, Campbell went back into first-team training and told the rest of the Everton players what was coming.
This kid was “f****** frightening.”
The 14-year-old kid was of course Wayne Rooney.

@Tush27J Absolute scum...her and the rest of them...they are the ones bleeding the country dry...yet the media that they also run will tell you its Dave the plumber doing a bit of cash in hand.
@ste_henry@EdParker96 Look how obsessed he is...literally got pickford in his profile....won 1st trophy in about 90 years and the stripey kopites start gobbing off 😅🤡
I used to be against vilifying billionaires. But once I saw them enthusiastically abandon democracy and the rule of law for Trump and authoritarian fascism — over nothing but avarice and greed — my opinion changed dramatically.
No Harry Maguire in England World Cup squad , he confirms. Feels like a mistake. Experienced , in form, goals from set pieces, takes a good pen, tournament know-how.
Team suspected of spying on training sessions - EFL conducts an investigation within a week and kicks the team out of a competition immediately
115 financial charges - PL will get back to you on that in a few years
Serious question 🙋
Are the Premier League changing the rules, so they don’t have to punish Manchester City if they are found guilty?🤔
Something smells fishy here when Everton and Nottingham Forest have suffered points deductions that almost relegated both clubs.
Thoughts 💭
The Premier League tried and failed to relegate Everton twice with two separate points deductions and now they’ve changed the rules.
Every Evertonian in the world knew this was going to happen.
The Premier League is corrupt to the core
@kenpoman1968@ElliottCar69754@1Nicdar Im not bothered about either of them. Sounds like you assume aswell as being an angry childish person. Relax, chill, perhaps spend less time arguing online champ. 👍
@kenpoman1968@ElliottCar69754@1Nicdar Very aggressive point of view there fella. No need to get so angry. Try being a bit calmer. Have a nice day and stop trying to be like the orange baboon you adore who promotes this level of hatred towards others. 👍
