Life does not pause or wait for anyone. With every passing moment, we move closer to the end of our journey. Youth fades, beauty changes, and wealth comes and goes.

When we leave this world, our possessions stay behind. What continues to benefit us are three things: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and the sincere supplication of a righteous child.

ইয়াযীদ ইবন মুআবিয়াহ সম্পর্কে আহলুস-সুন্নাহর অবস্থান ব্যাখ্যা করে ইবন তাইমিয়্যাহ (রাহিমাহুল্লাহ) বলেছেন:

“ইয়াযীদ বিন মুআবিয়া উসমান বিন আফফান (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহু)-এর খিলাফতের সময় জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিল। সে নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)-এর সাক্ষাৎ পায়নি। আলেমদের ঐকমত্য অনুযায়ী সে সাহাবীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল না এবং দীনদারিতা ও ন্যায়নিষ্ঠতার জন্য সুপরিচিত ব্যক্তিদেরও অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল না। সে একজন মুসলিম যুবক ছিল, সে কাফিরও ছিল না, আবার যিন্দীক (ধর্মদ্রোহী) ও ছিল না। সে তার পিতার পরবর্তীতে নেতৃত্ব গ্রহণ করেছিল। কিছু মুসলিম তা অপছন্দ করেছিল, আবার অন্যরা তাতে সন্তুষ্ট ছিল। সালিহ বিন আহমাদ বিন হাম্বাল বলেছেন: আমি আমার পিতাকে বলেছিলাম, “কিছু লোক আছে যারা ইয়াযীদকে ভালোবাসার দাবি করে।” তিনি বললেন, “হে আমার পুত্র, যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিবসের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে, সে কি ইয়াযীদকে ভালোবাসতে পারে?” আমি বললাম, “হে আমার পিতা, তাহলে আপনি তাকে অভিশম্পাত করেন না কেন?” তিনি বললেন, “হে আমার পুত্র, তুমি কি তোমার পিতাকে কারো প্রতি অভিশম্পাত করতে দেখেছ?" এই কারণে, আহলুস সুন্নাহ এবং উম্মতের ইমামদের আক্বীদাহ ও অবস্থান ছিল এই যে, তাকে [ইয়াযীদকে] তিরস্কার করা যাবে না এবং তাকে ভালোবাসাও যাবে না।”

By Shaykh 'Abdulilah Lahmami (may Allāh preserve him).

• The Qur'ān needs to be in our lives, both in recitation and in practice.
• The Qur'ān calls to that which is upright in every affair.
• We need to be keys to goodness.
• What is this life except play and amusement?
• An emotional narration concerning the Companion 'Urwah ibn al-Mudarris ibn Aws (may Allāh be pleased with him).
• This noble Companion travelled from Haa'il to Makkah (approximately 600–700 km) to perform Hajj.
• The reward of an accepted Hajj is to return sinless as the day your mother gave birth to you.
• By Allāh, there is nothing better than the religion of Islām.
• Do not waste time, no amount of money can buy it back.
• The regrets of the Hereafter.
• Holding firmly to our religion in these times will be difficult, as the trials are many, glad tidings for the strangers.
