This week, our first-years had an introduction to thermal modalities, like diathermy and parafin wax, and cryotherapy. Next week, they will be covering ultrasound and electric stimulation!

SRU's Physician Assistant Studies program is one of the few programs in the county with high fidelity simulation bodies. This classes are two years in length and prepare students for clinical rotations.

Dr. Karshin reigns from Altoona, PA, but grew up in Johnstown, PA. She started her education at Edinboro University, attended IUP, landed at EMU, and then most recently, here with us at SRU!
