Tennessee offered DeSean Bishop a walk-on spot. No scholarship, pay your own way.

He resented it.

Saturday he scored the touchdown that beat Arkansas with 1:57 left.

Here is what he says saved him.

Start with Saturday.

Tennessee and Arkansas were tied at 17 with seven minutes to go. Bishop broke a 59 yard run to set up the end of it, then took it in from the 8 up the middle.

He finished with 19 carries for 138 yards. The Volunteers won 24 to 17 and they are 5 and 1.

The Saturday before that he ran for 220 yards against Auburn.

Now go back.

He is from Knoxville and he went to Karns High School, about 15 minutes from the Tennessee campus.

Two schools offered him a scholarship. Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State.

Tennessee offered him a place on the team and nothing else.

He has said he did not like it at first. He took it anyway.

He hurt his ankle and redshirted. He was the backup the next year and ran for 455 yards.

In January of 2025 Tennessee finally put him on scholarship.

That season he ran for 1,076 yards and 16 touchdowns and made second team All SEC. The Athletic now ranks him the eighth best draft eligible underclassman in the country.

Now here is the part that got away from everybody.

In July, at SEC Media Days in Tampa, an ESPN reporter named Peter Burns asked him about his faith. Burns asked because Bishop's teammate Arion Carter had told him to.

Here is some of what Bishop said.

"Man, I'll tell you, I wouldn't be here without it."

"My Lord and Savior has treated me very good. More than I honestly deserve."

And this about the road to it.

"I came up from a lot of tribs and trials just to get to the spot I am now."

Then he said this.

"When God swooped in and saved my life, it came with all this that I've received now, so all glory to Him."

He said he was saved from "a really dark place, a path of destruction that I was on."

He has never said what that was, and nobody has asked him to.

He also did not pretend it is finished.

"It's a daily battle," he said.

Then he turned it outward.

"I encourage you to at least try to find a relationship with him. It changes your life for the better."

The clip went everywhere, hundreds of thousands of views. Kirk Herbstreit reposted it. One writer called it the most important 90 seconds of the entire event.

So that is the kid who walked on at the school down the road from his high school and did not like the terms.

Saturday he carried it 19 times and scored the one that won it.

@TriStar_Vols What about "I'm a Vol for life!"

Got to hand it to Bill Maher. We may not agree on everything but thank God he is calling out the insanity. That takes moral courage & principles. And deserves respect.

So Democrats are arguing they should be elected because gas prices are too high. Do you know where gas prices are the highest? IN STATES RUN BY DEMOCRATS! They lit the affordability fire — inflation went to 9.1% — and now argue the arsonists can put the fire out better. Crazy.

"The reality is that Rachel Griffin Accurso, who plays the character of Ms. Rachel, should not be trusted with your kids."

Karol Markowicz delivers a scathing warning to parents about the wildly popular children's entertainer, arguing that her activism on Israel is "just one part of her overall political messaging."

"Her comments on Gaza have sometimes slid from merely 'pro-Palestinian' to plainly antisemitic," Markowicz writes, pointing to the outcry after Accurso "liked" a comment that read, "Free America from the Jews." Accurso later apologized.

Markowicz warns parents about what she sees as the larger danger: "It's very hard to un-brainwash children who have been ideologically captured by outside forces."

Read the full opinion at the link for why Markowicz says parents should take Ms. Rachel at her own word.

A Nova Scotia woman had precancerous cells on her cervix.

That was two years ago.

Pap smear. Abnormal cells. Referral to a gynecologist so they could find out if it was cancer. The referral sat for nine months.

She finally gets an appointment. She shows up on time — 10 a.m., in her calendar. The office says it was at 9. Won’t see her. Won’t reschedule. Start over. New referral.

She leaves crying. Seven more months go by. They call about an appointment she was never told about. She can’t take it.

She’s on a TV contract. Miss it and they can sue her.

Next opening: next year.
They don’t even call her back. She has to chase them.

She said the quiet part out loud: imagine dying of cervical cancer while you wait just to see a gyno.

That is Canada’s “universal healthcare.”
Not free care. A government monopoly that loses your referral, punishes you for their scheduling error, and hands a possible cancer case a calendar date in another year.

Coverage on paper. Care on a waitlist. You pay the taxes either way. The state decides when you’re allowed to find out if you have cancer.

This is the model they want to import as Medicare for All.

Don’t.

My legislation will slash fuel prices and keep big oil from gouging us. Keep our fuel here.

@realDonaldTrump

[Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh]

🚨 BREAKING: Rep. Tim Burchett just emerged on the House floor and filed legislation to CRACK DOWN on oil companies artificially raising fuel prices by exporting it abroad at higher costs

"PRICE GOUGING by greedy oil companies!"

"I'm introducing legislation to implement export control measures on American diesel. Export controls drive down prices while also helping farmers and keeping more money in the pockets of consumers."

Burchett says companies "know" they can make higher profits by selling at higher prices abroad, and wants American consumers prioritized

"Mr. President, please call on Congress to pass this vital piece of legislation. I don't believe Congress has the guts or the willpower to do it, but, sir, you have proven time and time again that you and Vice President Vance do have the guts to do what's right for this country."

This comes after President Trump brought energy companies into the Oval Office and told them to STOP letting gas prices stay higher than they should be

Sports media owes me an apology for Greg Schiano. They tried to tell you he would be an incredible hire for Tennessee. Instead, Rutgers is going to have to pay him tens of millions of dollars to no longer be its head coach.

CNN: “This is an undocumented immigrant...”

Stephen Miller: “They were here ILLEGALLY?”

CNN: “I want this to be a good-faith discussion...”

Miller: “When you use language designed to obscure the truth, that’s NOT good faith. An ILLEGAL ALIEN is an ILLEGAL ALIEN. They’re not ‘undocumented immigrants’.”

CNN: “Stephen, we’re trying to humanize the debate...”

Miller: “Humanize? Then let’s humanize the Penal Code too. The bank robber becomes a ‘specialist in unscheduled withdrawals’. The con artist turns into an ‘entrepreneur of alternative financial narratives’. The guy who breaks into your house uninvited is just a ‘visitor with pending documentation’. How about that?”

CNN: “That’s a crude analogy.”

Miller: “Crude is pretending federal law vanishes because CNN’s copy desk cooked up a cuddlier euphemism. ‘Undocumented’ sounds like someone who forgot their wallet in an Uber. No. It’s someone who crossed the border without authorization, stayed, and now the press treats the legal statute like it’s a matter of writing style.”

CNN: “But many contribute to the economy...”

Miller: “Ah, the classic argument: crime stops being crime if the person washes dishes or builds roofs. By the same token, the cigarette smuggler ‘contributes’ too, creates jobs in transport. Want us to call him an ‘informal logistics entrepreneur’? Would CNN go for that?”

CNN: “You’re polarizing.”

Miller: “No. I’m rejecting the marketing dictionary. You change the word, then accuse anyone who uses the legal term of being ‘inhumane’. It’s the oldest trick in the book: first soften the vocabulary, then declare moral victory. The United States is tired of this theater. Call it what it is. Or admit the goal was never clarity—it was narrative control.”

🚨 BREAKING: Asst. NY AG working under NY Attorney General Letitia James just EXPOSED orders he was given to SPECIFICALLY TARGET President Trump and his affiliates, per Albany Times Union

Letitia James should be FEDERALLY CHARGED for this.

Per this whistleblowing Asst. AG Daniel Wiesenfeld, he was DIRECTED to target “Trump himself, Truth Social, and others … without having a credible reason for targeting this organizations and individuals.”

He sent this email to about 2,000 colleagues, before James had it removed from all their inboxes.

Big Tish made a CAMPAIGN PROMISE to unfairly target President Trump if she was elected: "We’re definitely gonna sue him we’re gonna be a real pain in the ass."

🔥 THEY SAID IT NEVER HAPPENS… UNTIL IT DID RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES 🔥
A CNN panel just exploded.
Bush White House spokesman Pete Seat is sitting THREE FEET from Obama’s own strategist David Axelrod…
And he drops the nuclear truth:
“Barack Obama got on the 2008 Indiana primary ballot because Democrats in St. Joseph County submitted FRAUDULENT petition signatures. People — including the county Democratic chair — went to JAIL over it. He shouldn’t have been on that ballot.”
Axelrod freezes.
“How did that get determined?”
Seat doesn’t flinch:
“It was exposed TWO YEARS later. Went through the courts. People went to jail. That’s the problem… nobody caught it before he was already on the ballot.”
FACT CHECK: 100% TRUE ✅
In 2013, four Indiana Democrats were CONVICTED for forging those signatures — literally copying names off old petitions. Even a former governor’s name was forged. County Democratic Chairman Butch Morgan went to PRISON for orchestrating it.
The thing they swore “never happens”…
HAPPENED.
And a party chairman did hard time for it.
Election fraud isn’t a “conspiracy theory.”
It’s a documented crime.
And they got away with it long enough to change history.
Share this before they try to memory-hole it.
