Btw, Among Anita Annet had promised to pay school fees for the child of the late Hon. Nakimuli from S1 to S4 totaling to 25 million at Kibuli SS.
One of the few things I pray she finds money for 🙁🙁
I'm happy to announce that we raised over 1 billion Uganda shillings during the birthday run. I shall soon announce the charities we shall support and handover cheques to them. Thank you all for your support.
The day is tomorrow. I don’t know how @HonKyeyune and @BalaamBarugahar got the guts to challenge me. Let’s come in big numbers and witness the battle as we celebrate with our beloved @mkainerugaba his 52nd birthday. Tomorrow Sunday, 6am, Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. @DaudiKabanda
@AKasingye Well! Those who were gifted free factories and shops left behind by fleeing Asians after Idi Amin's eviction order have since turned them into prayer palaces. Where now, their grandchildren go for overnight prayers asking God to give them visa to go clean dishes of Asians in Duba
Celebrating death is not bravery it’s moral poverty. When a man cheers bloodshed, he exposes a mind too shallow for leadership and a character too small for history. We knows this type well: loud like an empty tin, chest out, brain switched off. Real leaders reduce fires; they don’t dance in the flames. And if wisdom burned calories, this celebration shows none were lost just excess ego sitting where sense should be. What we’re seeing isn’t strength it’s insecurity wrapped in arrogance, and it will age very badly.
We've been informed of the abduction of our comrade Kaija Doreen, the coordinator of the @NUP_Ug School of Leadership. Heavily armed men moving in two drones picked her up from her home and drove her to an unknown destination. Dictator Museveni must know that these criminal actions will never break our resolve! A time must, and will surely come when all of us wull say ENOUGH to this nonsense.

A giant has gone to rest
The passing of Professor George William Kanyeihamba is an event that evokes mixed emotions — a profound sense of loss on one hand, and a celebration of an extraordinary life on the other. When a man lives a towering life as Kanyeihamba did, passing on at 85 becomes a testament worthy of praise and reflection.
To the life of an “unbwogeable” jurist — a Justice, indeed the People’s Chief Justice, as once described by one of Uganda’s leading columnists, Charles Onyango-Obbo — we say: Hallelujah to the Almighty Creator for gifting Uganda such a son.
Through his unwavering commitment to justice, the rule of law, and the defense of human rights, Professor Kanyeihamba etched his legacy into the annals of Uganda’s legal history. His contributions to jurisprudence resonate so powerfully that referencing Kanyeihamba will remain a cornerstone of legal practice and study for generations to come.
As a judge of the Supreme Court of Uganda, the great Prof. Kanyeihamba chose courage when weakness was either fashionable or considered good manners.
For his unmatched brilliance on the bench, when his colleagues were struggling to shoot down a highly well-articulated case of an unquantifiable effect of violence in the 2001 presidential elections on the voters, Kanyeihamba shot up with a basic but humbling question, "when you shoot down a bird in a tree that had many birds, what will happen to the rest of the birds?" His denialist colleagues on the bench were left agape and clueless. The point was home.
He did not shy away from criticizing the judiciary when he felt it had failed the people, and he remained a steadfast advocate for democratic values throughout his life.
His support for Dr. Besigye’s right to a fair hearing and his vocal opposition to arbitrary detentions reflected his deep concern for civil liberties. In a time when many chose comfort over defending their paths to office, Prof. Kanyeihamba spoke truth to power.
To his family, friends, and all who admired his work, we extend our deepest sympathies. Uganda has lost a patriot, a scholar, and a fearless defender of justice.
May his legacy live on, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.

@andrewbagala@nestakayongo1 Not everyone who writes correct English is a journalist! If that girl appeared in the picture with a mzungu old enough to be Gashumba's dad, your good 'journalist' narrative would be totally different! You and I can guess! Some of these guys white collar kadamaz
A lie does not become the truth even if it is repeated multiple times. we refuse to give in to hate-filled narratives from @AndrewMwenda and other state propagandists
We remain steadfast in our belief that @kizzabesigye1 is innocent until proven guilty in a competent court
Was Besigye planning a violent overthrow of government? Just listen to the many interviews and speeches he has given over the years. His political aims and the means to achieve them are clear. His emotional supporters can hurl insults and abuses at me for pointing this out but they cannot erase the facts.
