💡🧠🎤 Just had the privilege of speaking at Behavioral Health Business INVEST!
Truly inspired by the passion & insights shared on innovation in youth mental health by my fellow panelists Dan Davidson, co-founder of Galen Mental Health, and Natalie Schneider, founder of Fort Health!

@signulll nyc doesn't want waymo and newsom is happy to approve for california, sf is the sandbox of new tech, not nyc. exactly 0 ppl are going to move out of nyc because of this. ultimately the entire US will have self driving cars but nyc will be later to adopt.
democrat/republican/conservative/liberal
is just capital structure.
you either ask for an investment, in exchange for a guaranteed coupon - or you sell ownership and claim the rising tide lifts all boats.
both strategies involve grift.
guess which one is which.
It's funny that Musk wants to sue @RoKhanna over his speech because:
1) Musk claimed to be a free speech champion and absolutist, which of course he isn't.
2) Khanna simply linked to an academic study of deaths from USAID cuts, which Musk presided over.
3) Musk just called Khanna a "robber" and an "insider trader" which is way more defamatory and actionable under US libel law as statement of (false) facts, so maybe it's time for Khanna to sue Musk.
just as fish swimming in water have no idea what water is, we have almost no awareness of the environments created by new technology while we are inside them
technology changes the conditions of perception before we have the language to notice what has changed
(original quote by Marshall McLuhan below)
Rick Rubin calls himself a “lazy workaholic.”
He explains what that means:
“I'm a lazy workaholic. I have to force myself to do it.
My demeanor would be to do nothing.
I love the beautiful thing and it takes a lot of work to get to the beautiful thing.
I like to get to the point where it's like okay press the send button and share it with the world. That's a great feeling.
But all of the work up until then it's like "Oh my God I have to go to the studio today”
It's such a beautiful day. Wouldn't it be nice to just go out and have lunch with friends?
The first 25 years [of my career] were spent in a dark room for 16 hours a day, seven days a week in New York City working on music.”
Tips for builders from a message by @mntruell:
1. To sell a company for $60 billion, you need to start with cold emails that nobody will reply to.
2. Don't be afraid to talk to your audience.
3. Early-stage product marketing is different from marketing for mature companies. Don't copy the marketing strategies of big companies!
4. You don't need marketing channels to get your first users, you can find them through direct messages (DMs).
5. Start marketing as early as possible.
@TVachaW@Heliotrophy seems like there's a fine line between "active in society" - "i am not addicted - i can quit anytime i want." but ultimately seems that the capacity for full total renunciation is materially different than sticking around

Elektrik yok.
Motor yok.
Pil yok.
Ama hâlâ çalışıyor.
Gümüş Kuğu, 250 yılı aşkın süredir yalnızca yaylar ve pirinç dişlilerle hareket eden bir mühendislik şaheseri.
Bazen mühendisliğin zirvesi, elektriğin icadından çok önceydi.
If you don't yet believe in the world of 'agents talking to other agents', you should see the number of claude-created decks sent by founders that are then fed back into claude by VCs on a daily basis.
