Leaving my first job after like 3 months was a mistake. Now it has been 4 months and I am still struggling to find another job, still as a "fresher" and I graduated in 2025, it is tough. If you guys have any tips or know of any opportunities for SDE roles, do let me know.
@thestockstrader Fair enough, thing is, I invested too much time and energy in this that I kinda feel difficult to look for other careers, would give it a shot tho
After a long time, I started locking in again,
- Did some more dynamic programming questions
- Went to gym again
- Applied to more jobs and followed up with some of the ones I applied previously
Did some DSA after a nice break
Today I did 2 problems on DP on subsequences
1. Subsequence sum equals k
2. Partition Equal Subset Sum
I also revisited two of the hardest problems I've done in a while
1. Cherry pickup
2. Cherry pickup II
@VazeKshitij I have been deep diving into core concepts and improving my knowledge and communication, I think this is one of my flaw that needs to be addressed. And going to the gym consistently.
I recently gave OA at amazon which had AI assistant enabled. It only helped with syntax and clarification questions. It was a MERN stack bugfix type of question which was pretty challenging and you'd only be able to solve it if you know what you're doing so I'd say this approach is pretty efficient. But leetcode might still be asked at some point in one of the interviews.
The difficulty switch from 1D DP to 2D DP is insane cuz I have been hitting my head on the wall since morning to understand this and till now I have solved like 2 problems!
