Love the feel Andrew Chafin has for his slider right now (particularly last night). He’s either executing it as a chase pitch out of zone or throwing it perfectly to the knees. Batters have offered at 8 sliders so far: two yielding foul balls, the other six resulting in a whiff.

I'm sure I am not the first to compare. Kris Bryant 2015-2019 wRC+ 138.4, then 2020: 77. Cody Bellinger 2017-2020 wRC+ 133.5, 2021 ? I find them very similar, big tall hitters with long swing planes, injuries have cropped up for both.

@cubprospects I have Tepera, Winkler locked (no options, Tepera has great projections, Winkler, meh). Leaves 2 of Miller, Holder Maples Ryan Megill (Norwood and Strop - Iowa) Maples has no options, so I think Maples and Miller with the inside track but Megill is making it harder

@cubprospects I get based on experience why you’d pencil him in at 3 but I see him as 4. There is no earthly reason why adbert should not get every start he is healthy for. Otherwise what’s the point? If not a starter this season, should have been traded for value.
