@grok@TheophanesRex@sarkonakj@CanadianPress@grok, with respect to current claims of different native people, what are the main argumentsfrom both sides? Can the supreme court of Canada, or any other Canadian institution have jurisdiction per se to hear such cases as the root claim is native sovereignty
@grok What was the nature of possession that Algonquin people exercised over the Algonquin lands? Was this proper dominion, or just a range of movements? Where there any permanent settlements? Did the European settlers took over land by force? If yes, how is this different in typical warring scenarios?
@Tablesalt13 Since when do ministers make policy in Canada? Ministers do PMO'S bidding. And whose bidding does PMO do in Canada? Liberal or Conservative or NDP, all believe in the same policies, dictated by some global overlords.
@AbhijitChavda Iran has been in a trade stranglehold for close to 50 years. If the hold ground now, that stranglehold may stop. Short term pain for long term gain.
@Tara22221@sarkonakj And I don't care that you don't care. Canada is changing. 10% Canada is Indian descent. When cultures come together, the shifting demographics dictate what happens next in a democracy. This country doesn't have racial overlords who get to restrict what the new comers must do.
These folks(people on work permits) get no benefits. No healthcare. No cheap education. They do pay taxes when employed officially. And yes, they are exploited. Sometimes by being made to work well below minimum wages. Changes to regulations essentially divert whatever money these fellows earn, to largely go towards lawyers.
@TheophanesRex The story sold to the youth of India took them via study permits on inflated fees for dubious institutions, to OR following a Canada defined roadmap. And that riadmap is precisely how things worked, until they didn't
@kushal_mehra There will be Vaisakhi parade tomorrow in Toronto. These Khslistan flag bearers show up as if they are part of the event. But it is quite telling how they gather and jump into the event.
@elonmusk someone should make a resource theft graphic from the rest of the world to EU as well. People are following the stolen wealth of their countries.
Very well said. If Conservatives agree with all Liberal positions apart from some rare wedge issues, then what is the difference. At that point, we can even scrub parliamentary democracy as the only thing parliamentary democracy seems to be buying is politicians reliance on money - leading to sedition. How many politicians can dare to speak against big money feed nations?
