@MojoFunky@pge4yurii Yeah, I’m just saying I think Marth in particular doesn’t need to risk as hard as the rest of the cast to counter it. Of course, pound stalling extremely high in the air would be difficult for Marth to deal with, but I think without it, I would still enjoy chasing him around.
@KazeEmanuar@lauriewired Yeah, Star Wars episode one racer in particular feels twice as hard on N64 because if you have any stick wear you won’t be able to turn as fast, and the lag means you have to predict much more than react, compared to on switch or emulator.
@oberssbm I don’t need to rest my controller on anything either, though I did do a bit of training with an empty GCC shell with a band wrapped around it doing wrist raises, while holding the controller with my little fingers.
@upgamer_Nicki I’ve definitely been getting the F smash sometimes recently as Marth. It requires a lot of presence of mind to do a real option out of powershield. I know Aklo does powershield down tilt as fox, and we’ve seen Zain do power shield uptilt which is something I want to do.
@bur80153@robinhanson The problem with trying to time crashes etc is you’re fighting with everybody else trying to time them and someone needs to lose. Whereas if you’re working on a scale of months and years and just trying to pick up the things that will survive and do well, you can win together.
@robinhanson I picked boring stocks with good p/b ratios for a while and never lost (technically, I lost some on Cineplex for a while, but kept buying it and then sold when the cineworld deal came up and ended up with a decent profit). But I just do asset allocation ETFs now, less work.
