Sentimental moment for young bob. My results as well as tourney gameplay this year so far have been pretty disappointing by my own standards for the most part. I'm honestly proud of myself for continuing to put my heart & soul on the line, & happy as heck about my rank in such a competitive field in 2025, despite some unfortunate showings this year. However... As someone who has experienced a lot of winning throughout time, you have to respect the value of loss. Proud to say I've stayed true to my number one goal as a melee grinding human, & even as a streamer which is to keep my relationship with the game healthy & more importantly fun. Seeing so many of my friends & peers put the game down, put less hours into grinding, travel less etc has kinda hurt my relationship with melee & the scene psychologically, but I think because of how I've been able to manage my relationship with the game over time, two things haven't changed yet. 1, I love playing melee, & 2 I love streaming melee. I also love, respect, & appreciate the amazing people I've met in the community, especially the people who hang out with me on twitch ^_^. Really wanna give a special thank you to everyone who comes by my twitch chat or even anyone who interacts with my twitter or youtube. I'd be lying if I said the support from the homies over the years wasn't a contributing factor to my longevity at this point. I'm also grateful for younger bob for putting in 8.5k hours on twitch as well as well over 10k into melee / falco. Grinded from literal nothing into a position where I can make a living doing something I enjoy doing almost more than anything in this life time. Love you for that Bobbeh. I will always be a falco main, but I do wanna share something important to me, that is with Hax$'s passing (RIP Hax imy bro 🤍) as well as Sfop's retirement, those two in particular have inspired me personally to pick up fox as a dual main & in a sense continue to game & represent in their love & memory. This means a lot to me. I have reignited some lost passion with my fox & am excited to continue gaming throughout time & continue competing whenever I'm able to finesse the opportunity. I always say this but it's just the truth, I'm not even close to being done. Realistically will probably play melee until my hands physically can't anymore. Game is way too fun especially when your swag is too tough. Not many will understand, but many will read & perhaps reminisce on the passion they once held dearly. Melee is fun, people are fun, competing is incredible, but your own ego getting in the way of not being able to take a deep breath, look around, & appreciate all you have to be grateful for, & all that you've built yourself towards, as well as letting other peoples egos & negative attitudes affect you will always suck the soul out of what you love. Protect your peace, protect & respect yourself & remember where you came from & who you were to remember who you wanna be & where you wanna go. Also wanna sincerely give a personal thank you & salute to Mango, Cody, Hungrybox & Zain. I don't think anyone has inspired me personally as well as from a distance more than those four. It is what it is. To the fendy's of the world, stay mad. Big bob ain't never falling off, win or lose. It's called being legendary. To the lovers, you already know. See you guys soon. - Love Bob :P
