Yesterday's work on the Riparia Ponds Project included cutting the keyways for the pond embankment and constructing the berms between ponds 2 and 3 and the channel.

SSCAFCA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, broke ground on the Middle Venada Water Quality Facility project last Friday afternoon. The facility will protect the Rio Grande from pollutants running off the urban environment and provide sediment management on the watershed.

Excavation continues on the Riparia Ponds Project near Westside Blvd. SE and Unser Blvd. SE in the City of Rio Rancho. By the time this project is complete over 50,000 cubic yards of earth will have been moved.
