The CGLE-2025 exam for rescheduled candidates was successfully conducted today over 44 centres across the country. The challenge for CGLE-2025 will be made live subsequently in a day or two.
In respect of such candidates to set the record straight, they have been scheduled to re-appear in the exam to be held on 14th October 2025. Candidates whose exam was affected by the Mumbai Fire incident of 26th September have also been rescheduled on above date
In terms of Notice No. HQ-2004/5/2025-ERM dated 26.09.2025, the candidates of CGLE 2025 were informed that out of about 28lakh applied candidates, approximately 13.5lakh candidates appeared in the exam that was held at 255 centres spread over 126 cities in 45 shifts over 15 days.
During the course of these exams, some incidents of attempted malpractice have also come to notice of the Commission.
These include producing inadequate PwBD documents, cases of remote access attempts, absence/mismatch of biometric data etc.
Candidates are advised to beware of similarly looking fake X handles such as @SSC_GOI_, @SSCorg_in, @SSC_chief etc.
