Today is #BlueMonday, allegedly the most depressing day of the year.
But for us, there’s a #BlueSky! After careful consideration, we’ve decided to #eXit. Last year we posted in parallel, but we will now use BlueSky exclusively.

Third and final webinar in our series with the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada. We discussed Europe’s future, different integration models like staged accession or the Greater European Council. Again 100 participants, great questions, fantastic experience. Tbc in Kyiv!
Yesterday, I continued the @IDMVienna webinar series for the Research Service of the @verkhovna_rada🇺🇦. This time we tackled challenges of EU enlargement, but I also ended with some opportunities. Up to 100 participants joined the discussion, thank you for this privilege!

New year, new challenges and new resolutions! Our team brainstormed today where the journey continues, and how we can better cater to your needs and expectations!💡And what are your suggestions? Feel free to share them in comments 👇 or through private messages.
Balazs Orbán recently received his PhD (under, let's say, interesting circumstances). @derStandardat already appoints him as a university professor, but conceals who he actually is.
It’s a wrap for season 4(!) of our podcast Central Europe Explained, which contains some of my favourite of the now 60+ episodes. It has been another challenging but also interesting year, listen to the IDM team’s outlook and me struggling to find an optimistic approach for 2025
#Milanović wins by a landslide. A defeat for #Plenković? Not at all. A more right-wing #HDZ candidate could have challenged Milanović – but Plenković had no interest in empowering the far-right in his party or risking Milanović’s return to #SDP leadership. #croatia#izboriHR

Today I held the first of three webinars for the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of #Ukraine as part of the MoU signed with @IDMVienna. It was an honor and a pleasure to exchange with almost 50 participants and I look forward to continue the discussion next month!
Fun facts: 1.
