My gggg-grandad was kidnapped & raised by the Creek. Around time of the Louisiana purchase he rejoined his white family and moved W to Baton Rouge. He had one daughter, she was married 2x but had no children. 1/

I cannot imagine this pain. I’m dealing with it vicariously. My dad died last month. He and my mom had been married for almost 63 years. She was 19 when they got married. To say she is lost… well. Being an adult sucks

We are supposed to leave for a long planned vacation in Florida tomorrow. @Enterprise just called to tell us the minivan we rented for the trip is NOT AVAILABLE. THEY DON’T HAVE A VAN OR SUV ANYWHERE IN HOUSTON. Enterprise does not care. 😭😭😭@enterprisecares

So to recap: In March
My estranged, crazy uncle died, probate is a bitch. Then my dad went into the hospital with chronic lung failure.
April trudged by. In early May a pipe broke and my house flooded. Then our garage door broke and a week later my dad died.

Ok. Ummm. Rewind 100+ years ago virtually ALL the people who died of measles had been raised on breast milk from unvaccinated women. Still died. Theory disproven.
