On December 8th, Firefighter Dewar graduated from the Utica Fire Academy. When a recruit receives their badge, it signifies that they have successfully completed recruit training. This is accomplished through hard work, commitment and dedication to the craft. Job well done!

Today members of the Saratoga Springs Fire Department attended the Utica Fire Academy Graduation. Firefighter Luke Perry completed his 14 weeks of academy and will return to start his career with the department. Congratulations and good luck!
Between yesterday and today the fire department handled 40 calls. 70% were overlapping calls. Firefighter went from one call to the next. We had several calls related to the weather.
