🚨 WATCH: Fairfax County Chair Jeff McKay walked quickly into the men’s bathroom after I asked him questions on if he’s going to change the policy that allowed sex offender Richard Cox to use women’s locker rooms at county rec centers. Cox identified as transgender and county policy allows people to use locker rooms based on gender identity.

McKay also avoided my questions on if he thinks @SteveDescano should have prosecuted Cox when he allegedly exposed himself in a female locker room at a @PlanetFitness and if he thinks Descano should hand over the case to @JasonMiyaresVA

Had Descano prosecuted Cox last summer and if he had secured a guilty verdict and a sentence, Cox would not have been able to allegedly expose himself in women’s locker rooms in Arlington’s Washington Liberty High School, Wakefield High School, and Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center months later. Nor would he have been able to enter Fairfax County’s Oakmont Rec Center’s women’s locker room in November.

@NickMinock Why do we need a law telling school administrators to do checks when they know what and where the problems are? One SRO can’t do everything on the school. Maybe it’s time for some firings.
