I have always believed that the highest duty of any public representative is to the people who have reposed their trust in us. We are accountable to them for every promise made and every step taken.

It is with this conviction that, since being elected as an MP in 2014, I have published the ‘Nishobdo Biplab’ booklet every year, a transparent, detailed and verifiable record of the development work undertaken in Diamond Harbour. You, the people, made Diamond Harbour No. 1 in terms of victory margin. I am determined to make it No. 1 in terms of real, inclusive development.

The BJP may deploy all the money and muscle at its disposal, but what it will never command is the trust of the people. I have no doubt that 2026 will mark the farewell tour of the BJP in Bengal. The people are ready. It’s time for 'Bidaay Jananor Pala'.

Proud to share that West Bengal has won the prestigious award from International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes for Innovation in Paediatric Diabetes Care – honoring the West Bengal model for battling the Type 1 Diabetes!

It is a groundbreaking public health initiative of Health and Family Welfare Department of GoWB, which has received global laurel now.

I congratulate our Health Department, doctors and others in the team for this great achievement!

#Sebaashray may have reached its formal conclusion on 20th March, but our resolve to stand by the people remains steadfast. In Diamond Harbour, help will always be given to those who ask for it.

Honouring this commitment, today, seven individuals diagnosed with cataract-related issues at the Maheshtala Sebaashray health camp underwent free cataract surgeries at Renuka Eye Institute, restoring not just their sight, but their faith in a system that prioritises people over profit.

Every life we touch strengthens our resolve. Our journey continues, not in grand gestures, but in quiet service to the people.

👉🏻 Since inception, Sebaashray has brought professional healthcare to the doorsteps of 8,94,512 PATIENTS.

গতকাল আমাদের WBTPTA এর সম্মানীয় চেয়ারম্যান তথা শিক্ষা মন্ত্রী মাননীয় ব্রাত্য বসু মহোদয়ের উপর সিপিএমের ছাত্র সংগঠন যেভাবে নৃশংস আক্রমণ চালিয়েছে,তা নজিরবিহীন। তাদের রক্তে এখনও যে নেতাই, ছোটো আঙ্গারীয়া,নন্দীগ্রাম কাণ্ডের নেশা লেগে রয়েছে,তার প্রমান গতকালের হামলা।

There is no room for detachment when an initiative like #Sebaashray is at play. Service of this scale does not run on autopilot: it demands an active, hands-on approach.

Yesterday, I visited the Model Camp in Budge Budge, along with two other health camps. And what truly stood out the most were the faces of relief, of gratitude, of renewed hope. Patients who walked in with uncertainty left with assurance and dignity restored.

Your faith in #Sebaashray drives me to push harder, to go further and to give nothing less than my absolute best in the pursuit of selfless service.
