Two years after an FIR concerning the alleged assault of a dog feeder at BPTP Amstoria, Sector 102, Gurugram, feeders continue to report intimidation/obstruction while feeding community dogs across the 120-acre complex. Puppies are reportedly being left without adequate access to food.

This cannot be resolved through harassment or starvation. Authorities must ensure lawful feeding, protection of caregivers, proper designated feeding arrangements, and peaceful coexistence, while investigating any alleged misconduct.

A girl dies in Polavaram district of Andhra Pradesh allegedly because of expired malarial medicine given to them at school!!!

School staff distributed Chloroquine tablets to 73 students in Gollaguppa village, located in Visapuram Gram Panchayat, Etapaka Mandal, Polavaram District, Andhra Pradesh.

About 53 students immediately fell ill and they were shifted to the area government hospital in Badrachalam district of Telangana for treatment.

When the Mountain Does Not Keep the Promise

I went to Kailash with Isha in 2008. I know how the sojourn works, because I paid for it, sat in the jeeps, felt the thin air at Manasarovar, and watched how the money and the risk were managed.

A Nepal tour operator handled the bulk logistics for roughly fourteen thousand rupees a head in those days. The rest of the fee,the premium charged for travelling “with” Jaggi Vasudev,went into the organisation’s pocket. That is not a revelation. It is how packaged pilgrimages work. Call it spirituality if you like, the arithmetic is ordinary business.

The claim that was not ordinary was the one attached to the brand: that people come back alive because of grace. Sadhguru has said versions of this for years,that he will not let you die, that bringing large groups home from Kailash is something only he can do. After the August 2026 flood at Gyirong, when one Isha group was at the immigration building as the water and silt arrived, those sentences sit differently. About eighty people from that group remain unaccounted for. In a calamity, the minimum ethic is not another discourse on hidden dimensions. It is to stop selling the idea that the body is exempt from weather, altitude, and timing.

The quieter method behind the “everyone returns” record is not occult. Most independent groups still attempt the parikrama,the three-day circuit around the mountain at sixteen thousand feet and above, on foot or by mule, where oxygen is scarce and people do die. Isha’s pattern, at least as I lived it, was different. You do not do the full girivalam. You are taken to Manasarovar, told to meditate, given darshan of the eastern face, and brought back by vehicle. The explanation offered is that Kailash, as Meru, is properly seen from the east, the other sides do not count in the same way, so the dangerous circuit is unnecessary. Whether that is theology or risk management, the effect is the same: you avoid the stretch where the probability of a last breath is highest.

I learned the limit of that arrangement in my own body. At Manasarovar I felt the air fail. My body began pulling oxygen from my blood,a high-altitude crisis I had never known. The mystical interventions did nothing I could measure. I was left at a Chinese hospital, alone. I do not remember how many days I was there. I went through what felt like three near-death episodes. Medicine and descent brought me back. The “powers” did not.

That is the part that matters now. Charging a premium to sit in the same convoy is a business choice. Telling people that grace will keep them from dying is a different kind of product. When a glacier collapse and a flood erase an immigration hall, physical law does not pause for a master who has said he has been to Kailash fifty-one times. The families of the missing are not owed another story about inner fire. They are owed the recognition that the trip was sold as protected, and that protection was always logistics, timing, and the decision not to walk the hardest path.

I came home from the lake. Others, this month, did not even get that far. The mountain does not keep promises. People make them. When the water comes, only the latter can be judged.

A 20-year-old man was arrested in #Bhopal on Sunday evening for allegedly kidnapping a one-and-a-half-year-old boy from a hospital canteen and sexually abusing him at a nearby abandoned structure.

Looks like you have reading comprehension issues. My post is clearly about the extremely insensitive conversations students are having on their WhatsApp groups and plotting to kill dogs. This should never ever happen. And if there is an issue there are scientifically proven methods to address it

Ok this is @IITHyderabad! A premier institute where students get seats through merit and what do they do after joining college?

1. They create dog hating groups on WhatsApp and brainstorm on different ways to kill its campus dogs! Below are the screenshots of the chats which students are having. Don’t they know that killing dogs is a crime? The worst part is there are Phd level students who are driving this hate.

2. During all this discussion, about 2-3 days back, a dog,wolfy, on @IITHyderabad campus dies under mysterious circumstances.

3. It’s a 576 acre campus with about 200 dogs living peacefully. There are only 4 feeding zones at the fag end of the campus. It’s impossible for the dogs to travel all the way for food because they are territorial. This is resulting in dog starvation.

So what is your next plan of action @IITHyderabad ? Would you be actioning on all the above points?

Human welfare and animal welfare go hand in hand! There are scientifically proven solutions to manage dog populations. I hope you will take necessary steps to educate your students to bring awareness on animal welfare in your campus.

We have adopted enough of them. Just because the institution is not able to follow science and manage its dog population, it can’t plan and plot to kill the dogs. It’s a grave violation of the law of the land. So get the hell out if you are evil enough to support this criminal mindset.
