1.1 made some incredibly strong bridges to help escape the earthquake in the PBL project. 2 groups managed to create bridges that held over 40 textbooks each! @StStephensHS

Classes have started work on bridges to cross the crack created. More updates to follow tomorrow. Hopefully they all survive! 😂

As part of their @StStephensHS Island PBL Project S1 pupils made ‘Pi Chains’ to escape from the crack in the earth created from the earthquake. 1.4 definitely escaped with their 42.3m chain!

A few more paper chains. The winning group in 1.2 by far are Gracie, Georgia, Ella-Rose and Isla who set to work quickly and are very well organized. Well done.

New S3 spent the afternoon doing Maths at the Beacon - percentages, pricing, Pythagoras, and proving the centre of the stage amongst many other things. Huge thank you to Kevin @thebeaconarts for the tour. (Most pupils said the highlight was being under the stage!) @StStephensHS
