The Catholic Bishops of Uganda continue their ad limina visit to Rome marked by a pilgrimage to the 4 Major Basilicas ,yesterday they visited the Basilica of St. Paul. Today, they proceeded to the Basilica of St. Mary Major where they paused in prayer at the tomb of Pope Francis

Earlier today, Ugandan Catholic bishops had a celebration of Mass at the Basilica of St. John Lateran (Cathedral of the Pope). Our Bishop (Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Eciru Oliach) can be seen on the 1st right.

Until his demise he has been at home of his late brother mzee Richard Ekemu. Burial will be on Mon Dec.1st 2025 at the diocesan cemetery. Mass for Christian burial will be at St. Patrick's Church Madera. May the soul of our departed brother find favor with God.

Obituary : Death has occurred of Rev. Fr. Curthbert Aronyu Etayu, a born of Divine Mercy parish Aminit-Kamuda. He was ordained to the ministerial priesthood in 1966 together with Fr. Leonard Elungat. He spent most of his time in USA. 1/2
