A Supreme Court order carries enormous social power. When language is interpreted as hostility towards community dogs in a country already struggling with cruelty and illegal relocation, the consequences become very real and very dangerous. @barandbench#SaveIndianDogs
600 lawyers. Some of the biggest names in Indian law who fought landmark cases that have protected Indians and Indian democracy from Right to Privacy, Right to Education for children, Pollution laws, Women’s Rights, Election integrity appeared before SC for community animals. They fought to save taxpayers money, they fought for science over hate and compassion over cruelty. Thank you 🙏 . @KapilSibal@MenakaGuruswamy
CAMPAIGN AGAINST @BhagwantMann@AAPPunjab !
A state and an entire nation do NOT deserve a dumb drunk as Chief Minister, especially one who cannot even properly read and understand a Supreme Court verdict before making public statements.
@BhagwantMann irresponsibly spread the false narrative that the Supreme Court has allowed campaigns to “eliminate” stray dogs, when killing stray dogs is ILLEGAL.
How can a Chief Minister be so careless, uninformed, and reckless while holding one of the highest offices in the state?
If a person cannot even comprehend a legal order properly, what business does he have governing millions of citizens?
Punjab deserves leadership with basic intelligence, responsibility, and the ability to read before spreading misinformation and encouraging hatred.
@AAPPunjab should be ashamed for normalizing such embarrassing incompetence in public office.
People are tired of drunk politics, reckless statements, and leaders who behave like clowns instead of administrators.
Punjab needs responsible leadership, not illiterate propaganda and public stupidity.

Is INDIA now a barbaric nation then?? SHAME ON YOU … DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS … You are only going to polarise society .. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the anger of the pro animal groups. FAILED to stop the corruption in ABC ? So kill the innocent souls then. Karma will not spare you … AND NEITHER WILL THE ELECTORATE
@BhagwantMann This is totally against the Hon SC order which expressly said we have to follow ABC guidelines. If you pursue this rash course, you will violate the SC order and lose the next election!
A 130-page constitutional judgment deserved more responsible reporting than “strays must go.”
Strays are not going anywhere, as a matter of fact.
They have people behind them who will continue fighting for lawful, humane and scientific coexistence.
Stop with the hatred, misinformation and violence-inciting headlines.

#StrayDogs #SupremeCourt
Dogs get less than two eggs a day, SPCA admits in High Court
Caged animals at Chandigarh's new SPCA facility denied proper nutrition; unpaid staff blamed for neglect
@nitinthetribune reports

The data is clear, blunt, and inconvenient for the outrage industry. The Lancet, a peer-reviewed medical journal, reports a 75% decline in rabies deaths in India over 20 years, alongside a two-thirds reduction in dog bite incidence. This is not anecdotal. This is rigorous epidemiological fact.
This dramatic success is a testament to systemic public health interventions, not magic or luck:
- Extensive anti-rabies vaccination programs for dogs across urban and rural areas.
- Improved access to Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for humans, making treatment available at primary health centers.
- Targeted awareness campaigns educating communities on bite prevention and first aid.
- Better integration of veterinary and human public health systems.
These are hard-won gains, the result of consistent, often unheralded, work by countless professionals. This is the result of selfless volunteering services of millions of dog feeders. It's a victory of science and sustained effort over disease.
So, when the Supreme Court deliberates on policies concerning community animals, the foundation *must* be this scientific evidence. To base policy on amplified media narratives or emotional appeals, ignoring a proven track record of decline, is a dereliction of evidence-based governance. It undermines the very systems that achieved this success.
We have a working model. The solution is to support it, not dismantle it based on manufactured fear. 🔬
Murder, relocation and cruelty in Telangana, Hyderabad, Chennai, Dwarka, Rohtak, Udipi, Warangal, Manipal....the list is endless.
The collective cries of the voiceless r resonating in the air and the perpetrators of these crimes WILL PAY @indSupremeCourt you r responsible too.
Important message on misleading media reports, dog behaviour, and rabies facts from Dr. Vatsal Kothari, Director – Critical Care at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Medical facts matter.
Fear-mongering doesn’t save lives, accurate information does.
Listen to experts. Stop misinformation. Protect people and animals.

Today is an important day for the voiceless.
As truth finally finds its place in the media, we really do hope that compassion also finds its place in the courtroom today.
