It sucks that Messi retired on international level because its obvious he's still got it, but at the same time I'm so glad we will never see him in a bad state on a football pitch after he's way past it. Nobody will have a memory of him like that, he will always be this mythical athlete who never declined until his last day
Messi playing his final game for Barcelona without knowing it was going to be his final game will never sit right with me.
Let alone the fact that he deserves an absolute grand farewell for everything he’s done for the club.
Article of mine was published today in @washingtonpost . In it,I describe why Russian citizens—led by Ovechkin—are currently acting as promoters of Russia's imperialist war. Also, how the @NHL is contributing to the war's prolongation and a higher death toll https://t.co/HpZcGm84kQ
It’s a disgrace. I understand the demand, but there simply has to be a cap on prices. We’re contributing significantly to making football more elitist every single day.
Being a fan doesn’t mean you can’t call our your clubs BS. Enough.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have loaned Benjamin Rautiainen to Tappara in Finland’s Liiga. Strong camp for the youngster, team is excited to see how he grows further this year.

Nearly 1.8 million people watched the NHL for the first time last season after watching "Heated Rivalry" or "Off Campus," according to NHL research.
Now the NHL is trying to turn that attention into lasting fandom — in part by changing how it markets its players.

This is bad. Creative people, and especially video-maker, should learn to commit to something; have a vision and go for it - constantly doing audience testing to get the "best avg. audience review" is just going to water everything you make down to grey slug
VIDEO A/B TESTING on YouTube?!
Ok I've thought a lot about this since the announcement, and the more I think about it... the less I like it? Mainly because there are SO many unanswered questions right now
If I'm watching a video, do I know if it's part of an A/B test?
If I'm reading comments on a video, how do I know which version they watched?
If someone's comment has timestamps, do they break if I'm seeing the other version of the video?
How long after publish can creators potentially be A/B testing a video?
How different are the videos allowed to be?
I hate to be the "old school" creator who never wants anything to change, but I fear A/B testing THE VIDEO ITSELF is just 1 step further than what I can fully grasp
Disney+ and the @NHL announced a new five-year agreement that will bring select ESPN-produced games to Disney+ customers in Sweden and Finland starting with the 2026-27 season.
