HEALEY SAYS, “WE LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER.” SO WHY ARE FAMILIES PAYING MORE?

BOSTON, Mass. — Governor Maura Healey’s new campaign ad declares: “In Massachusetts we work hard and look out for each other.” After nearly four years of one-party rule, the numbers show Healey is only looking out for political insiders, not hard-working Massachusetts families.
“Maura Healey says Massachusetts works hard, but she continues to overspend, overtax, and overregulate our people. The truth is Massachusetts families are working harder than ever just to get by and many are leaving,” said Mike Minogue. “Families are struggling to pay their bills on electricity, housing, and healthcare. They need a governor who will solve problems, not campaign on them.”

ENERGY BILLS: 2nd HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY
Healey claims her administration is working to lower energy costs. However, electricity rates went up again this summer for customers on utility basic service. Massachusetts residents pay the second-highest electricity rates in the country. Maura Healey could propose to suspend the state-mandated climate taxes, which add one-third in additional costs to monthly bills. We need to invest in safe, clean, and reliable energy that lowers monthly costs with natural gas pipelines and evaluate new modular nuclear energy options.

HOUSING: HALF OF RESIDENTS SAY IT IS UNAFFORDABLE
Healey has made housing production a centerpiece of her administration, yet Massachusetts is last in the nation for permits per capita. Additionally, a MassINC Poll found that 50% of Massachusetts residents say housing is unaffordable. Among people 35-44, that rises to two-thirds. The majority of Massachusetts residents said their financial circumstances prevented or delayed them from buying a home.

HEALTHCARE: MOST EXPENSIVE IN THE COUNTRY
Healey also touts efforts to make healthcare more affordable, yet Massachusetts has the highest healthcare costs in the nation. The Commonwealth's commercial health plans are the most expensive in the United States. Our primary care physicians are leaving or retiring, and we are burning out our nurses and physicians. Maura Healey has done nothing to help improve access to affordable, quality care.

“Let’s build a Massachusetts where families can stay,” said Minogue in response. “Where businesses can thrive. Where our children can dream big. And where our politicians once again remember who they work for: the people of Massachusetts.”

"Not on my watch." A Massachusetts father is fighting his school board after a boy pushed into his 9-year-old daughter’s bathroom stall.

The girl was using the restroom at Rochester Memorial Elementary when a male student who identifies as transgender looked under the door, asked whose feet those were, peered through the crack, and pushed the door open while she was exposed.

The family reported it. The school’s response was to close the case and claim “children are our sole concern.”

The father, Luis Rivera, has filed a Title IX complaint seeking accountability and has begun posting signs throughout the community that read “No boys in the girls bathroom in our schools.”

He is recruiting neighbors who are equally outraged that a third-grader’s privacy was treated as secondary to a boy’s claimed identity.

Police typically stay out of these cases because schools claim a different evidentiary standard. That is how a clear violation of a little girl’s privacy gets handled as an internal policy dispute instead of the protection failure it is.

Parents are done accepting this. Girls’ bathrooms exist for a reason.

EVERYONE:

I’m well aware that the so-called experts and pundits will say there’s no chance to defeat a Democrat Incumbent in MA. I’m sure they will show polls that say no way. Polling has been off ever since polling showed Hilary Clinton with an 85% chance of winning over Trump in 2016. This election year is unpredictable.

In boxing and MMA, matchups make fights. The matchup between me and Markey poses a real opportunity.

Markey is 80 and been in office for 53 years. When Markey graduated college in 1968, MRI technology didn’t yet exist.

There are almost 400K Veterans in MA. They remember how Markey treats the 🇺🇸

There are also over 1 million crypto holders in MA. All I need is 1.3 million votes on Nov 3rd. In 2024 I got 1.35 million votes.

We have two polls: one that had me edging Markey out by 1-2 points. The other poll had me down 5 points with 15% undecided. A University poll showed me leading Markey among independents by 1 point. 66.6% of MA voters are independents.

If I get the funding I win. But more importantly, America & MA wins.
