Nicola Sturgeon is now a pariah among the political class, despised by opponents and former colleagues, alike. She wanted a legacy and this is it. I wrote this for @MailOnline: https://t.co/VjmSEHHS9q
What possible threat is there after you’re inside the parliament building where visitors have to pass through a airport style security check.
The green staffers demanded this from Parliament to create a narrative.
As ever the supine civil service played along.
FIFTEEN hours of watching Holyrood election coverage and we've found out the result from a Council YouTube channel, with no TV broadcaster and punditry to discuss live what happens with Scottish Labour and Reform UK in a tie for second place/opposition. ScotPol has outdone itself
The SNP lost 910,000 votes in this election, roughly equivalent to their disastrous 2017 Westminster performance. They broke the Holyrood electoral system, but the idea that they won any kind of mandate will rightly be seen as laughable. https://t.co/WuMrKugWdX
I will never understand this sneering resentment towards people who have made something of themselves.
It's not the Britain I've known. It's not the country I want to live in. If your attitude is to sneer at rather than celebrate success, you're living a miserable little life.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, @MairiMcAllan is the first fully fledged @theSNP-era politician. Careerism shaped not just by party dogma, but by senior civil service parents, the Scottish education system during SNP rule, and the professional and third-sector class bubbles the party cultivates.
She’s not rebelling against the system. She *is* the system - its most seamless product.
Personally, she makes me shudder.
How is it possible that somebody who can hardly string two coherent words together, somebody who is obviously so thick, can be in charge of our economy and a budget of billions and billions of pounds. The appalling low calibre of SNP politicians are an embarrassment to Scotland.
SNP promised in their 2021 manifesto that they'd cut classroom contact time by 90mins for teachers. They have failed. That's why teachers called strikes. Scot Gov have now pledged £40m to deliver this promise late, in the coming years. We're meant to thank them for this?
