Too many kids have been taught that the goal of High School sports is to achieve an ATHLETIC scholarship.
Here is the truth:
The goal is to become a better person, better teammate & enjoy your time being a teenager…something you can’t get back.
The rest takes care of itself.

Reminder: golf, tennis, volleyball & cross country are approved by the Governor to have contests. OHSAA continues to work with Governor's Office & Ohio Dept. of Health regarding soccer, field hockey & football.
What’s the greater risk to people under age 25, canceling in-person learning & extracurriculars (sports) to protect them from COVID or leaving it to chance how they’ll fill this time? You can’t take these things away from young people & expect good(health, academic, life) results
S/O to schools all across the state tomorrow (4/20) at 8:20 (20:20 Military time) when they light up their stadiums for 20 minutes showing respect for all the class of 2020 has had to give up during this crisis.
