@Membrillo_1984@notsve_ A lot of the subtext of Lonesome Road is that you can stop chasing Ulysses at ANY time, the double meaning of “You can go home Courier” being You can return to Hopeville or simply turn around and go back home to the Mojave
Josh Sawyer says Fallout: New Vegas was designed to catch Fallout 3 players off guard.
In a recent interview, he explained that Obsidian wanted players to realize right away that New Vegas was a different kind of RPG.
Instead of having enemies scale to your level like in Fallout 3, many areas have a fixed difficulty, so wandering into the wrong place too early can get you killed.
One of the best examples is Quarry Junction, where players can run into Deathclaws almost immediately after leaving the starting area.
Sawyer explained the idea behind it:
"It's to teach the player, 'Hey, this is not actually Fallout 3. Things work a little differently. You're going to get your ass handed to you if you're not careful.'"
What a weekend!
Our first public hands-on event with Stage Tour at #IGNLive is in the books.
It was a pleasure meeting so many rhythm game fans, players, and creators - Thanks to everyone who stopped by and rocked with us!
Next stop: SDCC
See you there! 🤘
@stagetourgame Very happy with everything shown, the Highway specifically has been improved majorly! Still think that the character modes have lifeless eyes and lighting is definitely too flat.
it’s cool that people want to remake this and completely strip it of all the 90’s charm it has. instead of looking like Twin Peaks this shit will look like a streaming service original
Blew the president to smithereens trying to protect this fuckin thing just for some Belkan shitheads to blow it up a few years later, fuck my chud life
