People need to touch grass as much as possible. The online world convinces you that you deserve perfection and that doesn’t exist. Everything worthwhile in life involves investment/struggle/costs/risks. There’s no black and white, just a lot of grey. There’s pros and cons to every single option in life. This message is a nice introduction, but based on the fan consensus I've seen, it isn't nearly enough.

Generic statements about compliance, the future being bright, and confidence in the current roster isn't going to win back the fans who aren't just upset with the damage caused, but feel misled by a year of statements from the Clippers that there was nothing to this story.

And to be fair, none of that is John Gibson's fault. He didn't do this, nor did he handle any of the fallout. But he's inherited this pivotal next year of rebuilding some goodwill with the fans.

Not every fan will feel the same. But it's understandable why so many expect more than prepared statements.

We'll see what else the team has planned.
