@originalcotts over a month since i sent a complaint of a disgusting dirty cottage let to us. Many phone calls, but still wont give me details to speak to complaints department (apparently they don’t have a phone). Quick to take money but dont expect any help for any issues.

@Keir_Starmer Maybe try and retain the staff you already have. By giving them fairer pay and better working conditions… Increasing the training places is no use when they can’t be retained to start with. It’s a continuing cycle that the government don’t want to even understand or entertain.

@JoTheTaurus @heather_ilett 2. As a 3rd on a management placement being used as a hca to help with staffing levels is affecting how we can gain knowledge and skills and work wider as an MDT, participate in dressings etc, referrals to other professions, discharges, medication knowledge

@JoTheTaurus @heather_ilett 1. I agree with you jo, as students we are not complaining In regards to being a hca it’s all part of nursing, it’s when it comes to gaining our proficiencies it becomes an issue. With the extra requirements now needed due to change of the curriculum.

Allocated my management placement of 3rd year feeling deflated on the placement side, had no experience in surgical or community and it’s not looking like I will get that experience as I’m nearing the end of my training with another medical ward. #finalyearstudent #studentnurse

I am not happy to be doing online lectures/sessions in my final year at uni like I did in my second year too, this isn’t the same as in person teaching. This is setting myself up for unsafe practice once I qualify all whilst still paying 9k a year. #3rdyearstudent #studentnurse

I’ve had the best time and experience on this placement and sad it’s coming to an end. I’ve learnt so much and felt like a member of the team. I think I’ve found my love for respiratory medicine #studentnurse

@nicdanforth Im not sure about the vaccines, but with venepuncture as far as I'm aware (student support) we cant practice till weve had full training in uni for it x
