@refractivewave@DongyJammin I think this is an unfortunate downstream effect of Deltarune being released episodically. One questions why Toby is doing Chapter 1 nostalgia bait until you realize its been almost 8 years since it came out, over twice as long between Undertale and Chapter 1 releasing.
TADC fans want to be critics, they want to analyze art, but they can’t, because they’re fundamentally incurious people who aren’t much interested in what others think or feel, and all their criticisms boil down to “Why should I care about a morally bad character?”
@Offendheimer@DRabbit679@Halalcoholism Letting 500,000 children die from USAID cuts to own the libs😎. Shouldn't they have known that their lives are worth less than a western country exerting soft power? Are they stupid?
@Nisebotan Reread the series relatively recently, and I think the humor and wit still holds up pretty well. What I find makes each book good or bad more tends to be if you like the plot gimmick it has, i.e. time travel, alter egos, etc. The only book I truly don't like is the last one.
@TheStarwald Always liked the character growth of Holly and Artemis' relationship over the series. Definitely one of the more unusual cases of Stockholm Syndrome /s
@ToniSmalloni@fleetway13@ACompleteHAK Bro its a twitter poll from 2 years ago, you cannot seriously believe that is in any way morally or ethically binding
@mo78496@daveac91@shriiyasays@nymphatix@SocialistMMA@AOC@johnnygarciatx I truly don't believe you mean this. Those camps were up there with some of the worst things human beings have done to one another. Any society that would condone such a thing is unconscionable. Is your only issue that the wrong people were in them? Really?
@mauthe_doog While this is technically true, games are the only art I can think of that gatekeep actual completion. You can bumble your way through a movie or book fully but if you don’t have the skill to beat a dark souls boss you quite literally can’t access the rest of the work.
@Cody5460154679 @ProxyN0va @MarcusSheldon7@WeAreMassEffect That could even be true and I would take it any day of the week over the usual cold piss we get like the Halo paramount show. Fallout fans should be grateful they got something competent whatsoever at all in this adaptation climate
@CarlosSntana10@KazennaVa@Shisheyu Everyone's suggesting going whole hog at once, but I actually suggest playing the base game first for awhile and buying the DLCs one at a time. Going in blind with all the DLCs at once is A LOT of content and I can see it confusing new players imo.
